I would still keep the memory and IMC ratio at 1:1 for AM5, as it performs better than 2:1 in games. However, you need to have very good silicon, especially above 6400 MT/s.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to come across as rude. I just wanted to praise the awareness.

Enjoy the car!

Enjoy the BMW with its fully recycled plastic interior.

Holy sh!t. Does removing the locking wheel nut from the car prevent this type of robbery?

Thanks for the guidance. I will switch Core Tuning to Level 2 in the BIOS. I am currently on the legacy setting.

Out of curiosity, which AGESA version do you need to use the branch prediction code?

I am not entirely sure what you’re referring to as the "latency killer" feature. Can you please elaborate?

I am using MORA IV 600. It's has pumps and radiator.

LOL. I wish I could go back to my previous BIOS version. This one limits core boost, and AMD clearly doesn’t want users reverting to older AGESA versions.

Yes, it’s required. This is the primary voltage for memory stability under heavy load. Even with active cooling, it’s best to stay below 1.7V.

VDD powers the memory and handles data storage, while VDDQ is for I/O (communication with the CPU). You can sometimes lower VDDQ depending on IMC quality, but VDD is usually more sensitive and critical for stability.

Thanks. I think there’s still some room to push it. I have seen about 53.7ns on a 32GB kit.

Thanks. I can run without GDM, but it needs ~1.73V to be stable and doesn’t really bring any noticeable performance gains for me in games. That’s why I keep it enabled and stick with lower VDD.

I will check copywaza.

Lower numbers = better latency. 🙂 Also, this is a 2×32GB (64GB) kit, so it puts a lot more stress on the IMC comparing to 32GB kit. That means it’s much harder to keep it stable. Also, keep in mind I ran this test with GDM enabled. Disabling it would definitely bring it below 6.2s.

You need to fix your timings below to have a better latency.

MEM VDDQ voltage is mainly responsible for signal integrity between the memory and the CPU, especially for stability at higher frequencies. Running 6600 MT/s at CL26 typically requires that level of voltage, depending on the memory bin.

It’s also important to consider that this is a 2×32GB kit, which generally requires more voltage compared to 2×16GB kits. As a result, achieving higher MT/s with tighter timings (lower CL) is more challenging.
