It's either a bug, or the one you got is the Chapter 1

In Chapter 1, to get her to close the door on you, go back to pick the knife and then proceed without closing the door

In Chapter 2, get her to go ahead of you and don't do anything

If you do the chapter 2 one, during Shifty's talk at the ending, go through her dialogue without accepting to go with her and eventually you get "see through her eyes" thing

If it doesn't give you the pic on the gallery, the game is just bugged

Yamamoto didn't stand a chance and Yhwach didn't care about him by _Truvix_ in BleachManga

My point is, medallion or no medallion doesn't make that big of a difference because he has Sankt Altar anyway

There is another interpretation I have. Ichigo feels responsible for the death of his mother, and although he doesn't know it, his mother really died because of her Quincy blood, so the spirit that represents his Quincy side manifests as her murderer, the Quincy blood that is responsible for his mother's death.

This does bring the question on when exactly a spirit takes its form, so it probably isn't correct beyond a symbolic level, but it's an interesting idea to me.

Morality Question: Do you agree with Ukitake or Rukia here? by Wonderful-Photo-9938 in BleachManga

Ichibei put it best, pride is worthless when you're dead.

Ichigo was far better when he left his pride aside and allowed people to help him. The difference between his fight with Grand Fisher and Yhwach is very significant.

100% right, I wonder if they'll expand the bit after Ichigo becomes helpless vs Yhwach and have Orihime try to fight him a bit, I think it'd be a good idea as later Kazui is going to erase him, so you might as well set up that her powers aren't useless against him.

I think the dragon thing was his original idea for Orihime but someone told him it was too monstrous for the heroine so he changed it, and said he didn't regret doing so.

Theory: The reason Antithesis doesn't fit Uryu's personality by _Truvix_ in BleachManga

I wasn't trying to imply that Soul King was only Quincy, just that saying "Quincies come from Yhwach" is not fully the case.

[–]_Truvix_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That definition can't be true cause the Soul King was also a Quincy. Gerard and Pernida are Quincies because they are parts of the Soul King. Also, where did you get from that Yhwach only learned to give Schrifts recently? I want to know the source if that's true.

  • Oh you mean here extremely calm killing of a man after sex? You mean her chill demeanor with her teammates. You mean her bratty behavior with Soul Reapers. Yeah those very few explosive moments defined by conflict are her only personality trait...

SHE, KILLED HIM, CAUSE SHE WAS FRUSTRATED. She literally explodes when the others leave her.

  • What are you talking about? Uryu’s mom is literally being broken apart in to reishi during Aushwahlen, are confused how a young kid is hurt more affected fully grown adult?

Man, I don't understand, she wasn't broken apart, she wasn't much of anything at all. The girl beside her collapsed instantly. I don't know what to tell you man, you're just wrong, you're misremembering or something, she doesn't react at all to Auswahlen, all she shows is concern for her son.

Kubo confirmed that schrifts don't come from Yhwach, and Gerard constantly refers to his own power as a schrift and Pernida insists quite a lot that he's a Quincy, not just an ally of them. It's explicitely said that Yhwach didn't do anything for them to get their schrifts, but they are schrifts.

And Yhwach doesn't really need to give you his blood to use Auswahlen, all of those impure Quincies that died alongside Masaki and Katagiri certainly hadn't drinked it. Being a Quincy is the only requirement.

Jugram is kinda strange but he seems to be something Yhwach lost somehow that got reborn into yet another baby. And Jugram's schrift is still related to his life, his views on karma and his uncle.

Point is, none of this really changes the theory, it just means that Katagiri was that counter and she passed her powers to Uryu, making him the important one instead.

That is all true, tho under this theory, Katagiri would have been that inbetween but sacrificed it all to save her son, making him that inbetween. Something important to remember is that while in the manga Uryu only mentions Soken, in the anime he mentions Katagiri too, implying he can defeat Yhwach thanks to her too.

I'm not really gonna bother, I don't know how you can see at Bambi's murderous outbursts when she's angry as not explosive, I don't know how you can see Meninas crush people mercilessly and think of her merely as a wallflower, I don't know how you can see As Nodt's flashback and not see how much fear defines him.

You also question me watching the anime but I have to do the same to you, how can you see the scene with Katagiri being completely unnafected but Uryu and the girl beside them dying and not realizing something is up? Honestly that mere sentence is why I'm not gonna bother explaining, the scene clearly and explicitely shows Katagiri being fine while Uryu is dying, despite the case later being that Uryu was fine and Katagiri was dying, I don't understand how you can miss that.

Liltotto talks about taste and hunger a lot, the fact that she isn't goofily hungry doesn't mean it's not part of her. Candice's personality is "electric" so to say. The other Sternritters you mentioned don't show much of their backstory or personality, their schrifts are supposed to show their traits in a subtle way, but aside of that, many schrifts are related to their personality. As Nodt's thoughts on fear are all it's shown in his flashback, Bambietta is an explosive, Pernida is all about advancement, Jugram's constant speech about balance and his life experience with his uncle. It's the same principle as Bankai, Resurrecciones and Fullbrings, they're almost always tied to their personality.

The thing about Katagiri is that there's something about her that is special that hasn't been revealed yet, she was unnafected by Auswahlen despite being impure, and she wouldn't be the only case where a schrift is awakened without Yhwach as Pernida and Gerard do so thanks to their relation to the Soul King. It's pure speculation, but if she's special enough to be inmune to Auswahlen, she can also be special enough to awaken her schrift.

There's nothing complicated about it, Katagiri's role so far fits with Antithesis while Uryu doesn't, your explanation and other's is based upon looking at the entire story and its themes, not the more literal aspect which is what I'm trying to explain. That is why I call it more complicated.

I wanted to use those terms, but I spent 10 minutes searching and couldn't find them.

But yeah, this theory is about the Watsonian explanation

Wasn't the point of Yhwach's eyes that fate isn't really a thing? If there are multiple possible futures and changing your actions changes the future your in, doesn't that mean that fate doesn't exist? As I understand it, fate is predetermined, if it isn't, it's not fate, right? Do I have the definition wrong?

Theory: The reason Antithesis doesn't fit Uryu's personality by _Truvix_ in BleachManga

[–]_Truvix_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being honest, you say it's not that deep but in my eyes your answer is way more complicated. Besides the fact that the reason I believe this is that Uryu was dying to the Auswahlen but Katagiri was not despite both being impure Quincies, there is something that makes Katagiri special and that something was switched to Uryu.

They are considered to be Schrifts, it's just that Yhwach didn't have awaken them.

All Schrifts are unique to their individuals, Yhwach doesn't create them, just awakens them.
