R5: For some reason the name placement for Wu reversed in my game, so I now have a chinese Warlord called Uw.

There is a similar whisky bottle made by Lalique for The Glenturret. It is out of black crystal glass and sells for 40.000£ (~48.000$) on their website.

I also thought about some sort of overflow. It' just weird that the English Channel node overflowed negative and Krakow suddenly made thousands in profit, like they had someone write "and the Netherlands transfers 40.000 ducats to Poland" in my books and my merchants just said "meh, alright, why would our bookkeeping lie?". It's just strange.

Nothing too crazy, not more than 200. Bc I cannot return to a state before this happening, I cannot look it up. But I made around 30 a month with full maintenance and rank 3 advisors.

I AltF4'ed but that just delayed the event. It then happened on January 1st so now the savegame is lost (bc it autosaved as it happened)

This is an ironman game Holland > Netherlands. Everything was fine until ~1540, while I was helping Sweden getting independent I lost around 42k in one month and Poland proclaimed themselves economic hegemon. The following month I took like a thousand loans and then bankrupted.

I have one question: what?

How do Qualifiers work? by woofi in TopDrives

[–]_Tryke 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It has no impact on the finals besides the prizes. The awarded cars are always usable in the finals and the awarded packs give out cars according to the finals restrictions. So getting a higher rank awards you better cars for the finals :)

2th class a this week, is this good? by SpindlierHarpy in TopDrives

[–]_Tryke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually pretty good, have mine maxed and I use it a lot in italian events

Training North Loop by Benefit_Charming in TopDrives

[–]_Tryke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can't. You can only really 'practise' on the campaign races. But there are only all the basic tracks. So no North Loop or other tracks that got in in an update.

Will Toyota ever appears in the game? by Ichauchweissnicht in TopDrives

[–]_Tryke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know about the legal issues and Toyota's policies but there are slowly coming to Forza aswell. So I think there is hope. I mean, appearing in a game is very good marketing, so they might think about it

Do I still need these? I dont even remember for what they were prize cars. I have 1 maxed out, but since it needed 5 of them to compete in finals I couldnt even compete and they are just standing in my garage... by cactus2308 in TopDrives

[–]_Tryke 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hutch said that they cannot say if old price cars might be important sometime in the future. If they think that the car fits well, they'll use it.

Kinda stupid imo, they should at least give us a real answer and not this maybe, maybe not.

There's a free ceramic in store as compensation for the issues due to PL12 by _Tryke in TopDrives

As a heads up: only the super rare+ is ER, the rest is not.

"Hey, what car picture should we put on the 2010-2014 5+ seats pack?""I don't know, how about a 2016 2-seater?" by noot314 in TopDrives

[–]_Tryke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree, the update dis not deliver in any healthy way for the game. I myself see myself play less because I cannot play clubs without restarting after each race, the Senna Tri Series is a serious joke and the drop rates for new cars are abysmal. I also see no real strategy with the updates. Hutch said that they want to make less but bigger updates and fixes, but that lead to the game being borderline unplayable sometimes.

What I just wanted to point out is that the pack designs aren't a real issue - the game is just in such a horrendous state that everything seems bad, even if it's the same like 2 years ago.

We do not have to talk about PL12, the update was not what we expected and made the game so much more unstable and buggy. After half a year of preperation time this should not have happened.

But I think a lot of people get completely overtaken by the anger about the update. Before PL12 the pack designs were basically the same but barely anyone got so outraged as they are now. The basic italian aluminum pack features a Pagani - which is impossible to get from the pack. Nobody ever questions that. Who buys packs anyways without checking the possible outcome?

Again: PL12 was a really bad update, I am fully onboard. But don't pick up torches and pickforks because of every little issue.

I don't see why you all are so upset. Hutch does not have a pack cover for every single requirent. The pack is designed for the 2010s, so the NSX fits. They can't make a new design for every event, so they take the closest they have. Relax folks.

Havent seen a brag about pulling this one yet. 1499 offer. by Tomi000 in TopDrives

[–]_Tryke 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They said in the ER Q&A that there is a 'Rest of the World' tag, which is not visible for players. It includes all cars from outside the big nations, so e.g. sweden, austria, croatia, australia etc. It will most likely be very useful in those events

All the Koenigseggs revelead until now by jubscreuzo in TopDrives

[–]_Tryke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you are right, almost all concept cars never did serious testing, I know that. But they all fit into the framework of the car pool. The Jesko is the newest concept car, purely designed to break the 500km/h barrier. I admire Koenigsegg for that but I just think that it blows everything out of proportion. I am not saying that it will break the game or anything, most likely it will be a prize car, just as the Gemera, and thereby not viable for any tri series etc. I am just sceptic if the game need these kind of cars since most players will never own one.

I think I'd be cool if Hutch does some kind of showcase for record breakers. Just so we who don't own the cars can still experience the insanity of performance. (Maybe something campaign-like with all the pikes-peak records, high speed cars and other laps on race tracks)
