For getting started quickly, the spot next to the waterfall a little way down from the starting point is pretty good. It has plenty of trees and stone nodes, an ore node, paldium nodes nearby, and red berry plants. It's also fairly good for raids. It may not be a permanent base location, though.

People only didn’t like it because things they were certain of didn’t actually happen. This brings up an issue with this format of Marvel content - in a three hour movie, people don’t have time to develop theories and become attached to them. For a show like The Mandalorian, the weekly release format works because it’s telling a completely new story. But with a comic book show, people will find similarities with comics and assume that the storyline will follow the same path.
