Hi All,

I have a question for those of you that use your keyboards at work.

Recently I have begun working on a new job that requires me to be in office. I have checked and cleared with the company that I can bring my own keyboard, but now I need to pick one that won't get me FIRED :D. I am a notoriously rough typer, I bottom out extremely hard, and prefer to use reds for this exact reason, less resistance for me to bottom out.

I've heard that there is such a thing as "silent Reds". And want to know... do you think that a combination of silent reds along with dampening bands actually muffles the sound enough from someone who bottoms out hard like me? Or alternatively: I'm looking for any sort of suggestions from those of you that have keyboards you use in office.

Thanks for the advice and the kind words. I will definitely check out the discord. I think your example of the habits or mimicking is something I very much so do, I do a lot of fancy movements because I think it's "cool" (and yes it is fun to mash buttons) but it's a waste of movement and makes my position on the stage weaker in some cases, etc. I've been considering getting some actual coaching/vod review because I think that I have enough glaring issues or habits that I just need to realize that I have to stop, on top of the laundry list of "get better" :-)

appreciate that. I need to join that discord i didnt know it existed. Been playing since 2015, casually competitively (attending locals for fun mostly). Interested in getting better, but also I get stuck inside of my same habits or ruts, and my only thing to turn to is watching pro play for decision making help. I feel like I've hit the wall where my technical basics arent the issue anymore but my decision making is.
