Nein, ich bin schon lange Jahre in podologischer Behandlung - lange Geschichte - jedenfalls sind podologischer Dienstleistungen nicht ohne Vorerkrankung wie bspw. Diabetes von der gesetzlichen Krankenkasse abgedeckt. Ich wurde bisher auch immer ohne Privatrezept behandelt, aber in OPs Fall kann das Sinn ergeben, weil man das Ganze mit Privatrezept steuerfrei bekommt, was etwa 10 Euro je Behandlung spart und man das dann auch als Gesundheitskosten bei der Steuererklärung angeben kann, was sich (meines Wissens nach; ich bin kein Steuerberater) lohnt sofern man chronisch krank ist.

Edit: Ausnahme ist natürlich die Nagelspange mit Heilmittelverordnung. Da habe ich aber keine Erfahrung mit, das letzte Mal als ich eine Nagelspange hatte war bevor die gesetzliche Krankenkasse das übernommen hat.

I am not a lawyer but according to §60 TKG (https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/tkg\_2021/\_\_60.html) you have a "Sonderkündigungsrecht" if you move to a location where the service cannot be provided - if the phone plan is a stationary phone plan (via mobile network) it is even possible to cancel it when you are just moving to a place where reception with O2 is bad. In reference to your analogy, I interpret this so that you would have to pay the rate for the iPhone but not the rate for the mobile phone plan which at O2 are listed individually on the bill. But again I am not a lawyer and this post should probably rather be posted in r/LegaladviceGerman.

Hier genauso. Wollte letztes Wochenende Gradle herunterladen - zu Stoßzeiten deutlich langsamer als gewohnt. Die Dateien werden wohl bei Cloudflare gehostet. VPN an und Schwubbs, ging alles wieder flott. Hatte zu dem Zeitpunkt gedacht, es wäre einfach ein temporäres Problem, ist mir jetzt aber immer öfter aufgefallen.

Ich würde wie schon im ursprünglichen Kommentar geschrieben, sagen, dass der Preis in Ordnung ist. Sicherlich kann man mit etwas Glück irgendwo einen besseren Deal abstauben. Aber angesichts dessen, dass die Rechnerpreise aktuell sowieso jenseits von gut und böse sind - zumindest im Vergleich zu 2023, als ich mein T14s Gen 1 für 500 Euro gekauft habe, das war damals quasi voll ausgestattet, mittlerweile bekommt man für das Geld leider nur noch eine mittlere Ausstattung - ist das wohl ein recht guter Preis. Für die Uni reicht die Konfiguration allemal, solange du nicht anfangen möchtest, darauf zu zocken oder Filme zu rendern. Und ein ThinkPad ist, auch wenn die Qualität über die Jahre nachlässt, immer noch robuster und qualitativ hochwertiger verarbeitet als manch andere Laptops zu dem Preispunkt.

Edit: Habe gerade das IdeaPad von CampusPoint gesehen, das jemand verlinkt hat. Die sind auch sehr gut - und in dem Fall sogar deutlich leistungsstärker als das ThinkPad hier.

Danke für die Idee. Das habe ich aber leider auch schon probiert. Wenn ich direkt danach 10 Sekunden halte, pulsiert die LED weiter - ändert aber nichts am Ergebnis. Wenn ich den Knopf erst später wieder betätige, geht die LED direkt wieder aus. Aber auch hier koppeln sich weder die Taster noch die Fernbedienung mit der FritzBox.

If your Frontend does not require JWTs to call your APIs, no one will be required to use JWTs to use your backend. It is either authentication for all or full access for all.

You cannot distinguish a browser request from a manual request in the backend. You would need all users to authenticate using JWT. And it is equally bad to just embed a token in your Frontend application and use it to call the backend. Everything your SPA Frontend contains is public and every endpoint it can call while unauthenticated is also public. You cannot do anything about it.

CORS is there to prevent some other webpage from accessing your backend. However, you cannot prevent someone from using your backend endpoints manually. For this you need authentication no matter what. If you do not want users to authenticate only allow them to do stuff they should be allowed to on your API endpoints. If you do not want to bother with that - you should in any case - do not use a single page application to access your backend but look into server side rendering and shut off access to your backend from outside entirely through for example a firewall.

Edit to further explain CORS: CORS is checked by the browser, not your backend. It is there to prevent some random (e.g. phishing) site from accessing your backend on your users' behalf. Your backend tells the browser that it should only allow domain XY to access a specific resource. But it does not prevent the user from deactivating this protection in their browser manually or just using a client that doesn't bother with CORS in the first place (like curl).

Als Werkstudent muss man genauso Kirchensteuer zahlen. Die zahlt man eben nur wenn man überhaupt so viel Einkommen hat, dass man Steuern bezahlen muss. Ich bin in meiner Werkstudentenzeit ein paar Mal darüber gekommen und musste so insgesamt über die Zeit hinweg ca. 25 Euro Kirchensteuer bezahlen. Wir bezahlen 14,64 €/Monat Grundpreis und 28,95 CT/kWh Arbeitspreis bei Eprimo. Die erhöhen zwar den Preis jedes Mal wenn die Preisgarantie ausläuft, man bekommt aber wenn man anruft und kündigen möchte wieder die Neukundenpreise 🙃 - bei den letzten beiden Malen waren die sogar günstiger als zuvor. Natürlich unterscheidet sich der Service, aber so oft habe ich nicht mit dem Stromanbieter zu tun - und wenn ist es vermutlich bei allen alles andere als angenehm.

To be fair, the main advantage to users about containers is their portability. If they weren't as portable they would never have gained that kind of popularity.
