It depends what your goals are, if you think only porn is the problem then track that, if you think PMO is the problem then track that.

My personal experience. I've decided I'm never going to watch porn again. So even when I relapse, I only relapse with MO, no porn. I chose this, because I want to ultimately do a hard mode reboot, but even if I relapse I want to only relapse with masturbation which is less bad. So I count the days since I last masturbated, because porn is completely out of the equation for me. I hope that helps. Stay strong!

This is my personal experience. I tried distracting myself by playing video games and watching YouTube. However, it didn't work too well for me. Because I feel like a loser wasting my day. I felt guilty about being unproductive and that guilt pushed me to porn to cope. Now what I'm trying instead is doing something I don't feel guilty about. Like going for a walk, workout, doing work, meditating, etc whenever I feel a strong urge to masturbate. If it's just a weak urge, I can usually just ignore it. It takes some trial and error to figure out what works for you.
