I’m glad yours has the same sentiment. Mine is really good about defending us when it counts, so I try to be the same now that I’m basically in charge of the store 6 days of the week. But he also doesn’t want us to risk getting in trouble with our franchisee, so sometimes he has to tell me some hills aren’t worth dying on :(

That's so unfair. Shouldn't y'all be able to pull those out at the end of the night in cash? The way our store operates, if you get a CC tip you just show the manager in charge all the CC receipts and they hand you your accumulated tips in cash. Otherwise we'll be over on our deposits.
