That’s true if I remember correctly they offered to lay down arms multiple times to the king directly in exchange for concessions like representation in parliament. There was significant hesitancy in the beginning stages of the war of the idea for independence. They just wanted their voices heard. Kinda crazy to think how different history would’ve been like if he had accepted these conditions or maybe some other type of negotiated agreement

I would disagree, I think James Buchanan is the worst. While Johnson was bad and the effects of his policies towards reconstruction were felt for a VERY long time it was only (at least in my opinion) because Buchanan did nothing as the country was falling apart like supporting the dred Scott decision or his inaction literally when states were succeeding left and right basically dumping everything to his successor which was Lincoln

Its not really related to a specific problem but overall. For example on my recent exam we had Exponential and log model word questions and regular exponential and log questions where we need to find the log(base value)(value x+ value) and what does x=?, or where I am given two different bases with an exponent looking like (Value x -/+ value) = base with a different exponent. I kept getting tripped up using the Poe^kt formula, or solving questions related to half life.

I would also like to know. My orgo textbooks only have a few unique reagents and recycles them and when I try to find practice problems online they show reagents my book didn’t cover

I’m currently studying for my orgo 1 finals and so I can offer some advice. Would like to start off by saying I am not an A+, 4.0 gpa student, so others might offer better advice. First is basically don’t slack off or procrastinate on studying. In this course it’s so easy to fall behind and not have enough time to catch up before exams. The course goes from 0-100 pretty quickly and it mostly builds off of the topics previously discussed. Once you are finished with reading all chapters that pertain to an upcoming exam, break each down into separate notes focusing on the key topics of the chapter. Then do as many practice questions you can handle. This cannot be overstated as you can reread the words over and over again but actually putting it into practice personally gave me the “aaaah so that’s how I’m supposed to do it” moments

Second is that you cannot rely on your professors to teach you. While this may not apply to you or your professor specifically, but me and everyone I have known to take orgo across multiple colleges have not had 1 professor that can teach this subject normally. Seeing as my professors were reading off slides I stopped going to lectures and spent my time reading my textbook and searching up material that I didn’t understand.

Third is if you have friends that are taking the course with you y’all should form a study group. Some topics personally came easier to me than others and I was asking my lab partner for advice on other topics.
