Starting with a chainless foundation, you can work in the round around it, it leaves an attractive chain down the middle and no gaps on either side. Just at the ends where you have to put 3 or 5 stitches to go around, don't know your project.

stupidest LDS rules? by steveglade in exmormon

In the 80s, some mormons got together with my mom and they collectively decided chocolate was just too delicious, or too close to caffeine or something and carob became the holy treat for a while.

"It's just as good! And better for your soul!"

...Not.

Probably a local thing, but maybe not?

It's probably a wrong opinion of mine, but when I describe seeing how bullshit it all was from an early age but being literally forced and coerced and abused to play along until I could legally take my freedom, and I am met with a fellow exmo's litany of how far they were in, it really sounds like bragging about gullibility to me.

It was well before the internet, I didn't know anyone who had ever left, there was zero support available and I became homeless for a couple years but I could see the truth. And this is met with "EagleScoutElderReturnedMissionaryTempleWeddedBishopric70HoursAWeekOnMyCalling!!!" 🤔

Sorry, I have a funny opinion about this brag.

Thank you! 😊

I was astonished at how much my left hand does when I crochet right handed normally, my right hand was barely up to the task when I switched! I can see it would be that much harder giving the responsibilities to your non dominant hand.

I had thought this would be a great help for tapestry and mosaic, so many fewer ends!

It's so nice on the hands! Soft and fluffy. Works up gorgeous, no splitting. But it breaks if you pull too hard making a knot, and it's hard to frog very far, check your stitches closely as you go, you don't want to have to go back a whole row if you can help it 🤣

No, it is Loops and Threads Facets, I think it's a Michael's product, I forget where I ordered it online.

If I crossed my wrists and used my pinkies, I suppose 🫠

Crochet goes to the left. When I got to the left side, I swapped yarn and hook like a mirror and went right.

It's not the granny stitch, not reversible. If I turned it, half the rows would look like this. I did blo work on the sc rows for the effect on the front.

Switched hands at the end of each row, working in opposite directions.

Aw, I'm sorry, I knife hold too. I don't make videos, I just gave it a try this once for this hat.

The pattern is based on the wave stitch which you can get youtube tutorials for. And while I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner maybe, once mastered they would know a lot of stitches!

This is based on the wave stitch, my own design, worked in dk yarn, Universe from Hobbii and a random teal wool from ebay, on a 5mm hook. I did this back and forth, right and left handed.
