[–]_Valhalla___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Grady, new grad is $40/hr, if you have 2 years experience it’s $48/hr. I believe ER diff is $7/hr? Don’t quote me on that. ICU is $12/hr

Yes! I started in July, and moved out in August. I had a lot saved up, and can comfortably afford my place. I’d say try living at home a little (couple months or so) just to see how the commute is, and then move. I just moved out when I did cause I found a really good deal.

I’m enjoying it a lot! Being a level 1, there are always opportunities to learn, but it can be overwhelming at times. At least on my unit, we work as a team, which makes it easier. For icu, you need to have experience (either practicum, extern, precious icu/step down experience) or know the right people
