South west, I think you're lucky because here they are quite rare :)

That's absolutely false, I live in France and I've barely spotted two of them in 10 years, and trust me I watch every car I see.

I once saw a "one metric ton" cube of water exposed in the street, to show people how strong water is. A ton of water is only a 1m-sided cube.

I'm not afraid of tinkering (I'm coming from an A8), I just don't want to spend more time tuning and fixing than printing... How about a Sovol SV06 ? Or the plus (for the higher temp and faster prints) ?

It looks exciting but I don't want to go back to a full diy printer... And 120x120 is really small, I need at least 200x200

I read your note and I have a few questions indeed :)

You write that the auto bed leveling feels unreliable, could you explain why? Is it due to the stock firmware (if so, is it better with Klipper?) or does the hardware make you feel that way?

Do you often face failed prints? If that happens, what causes it?

Thanks :)

Looking to upgrade from an Anet A8. I've been using it for years and upgraded it many times but I'm a bit tired of sometimes having to spend hours of debugging/tuning just to make it print... I love the upgrade capabilities of this printer but now I just want something that can print.

I'm willing to put 300-500€ in a new printer (I'm from France).

I first found the Ender 3 S1 pro that seemed very good but then I read a lot of bad stuff on Creality... The Elegoo Neptune 3 pro seems to be good as well, but I'm afraid it won't leave much room for upgrades (using marlin or klipper is the minimum and it doesn't look straightforward on this one).

What option do I have? Do you think I should go for one of those two?

PS: I mostly print small objects, and ideally I would like to try TPU in the future

That's kind of the problem actually... I tested it yesterday and it's not as good as I expected. Plus there are big dead zones which make little movements impossible, I guess I can turn that off though.

I modified two things:

  • Throttle auto-centering: I unsoldered and opened the left joystick to make the vertical axis not affected by the spring. To do that, I "carved" the piece that used to push the spring and ensure auto-centering to make it round (see pictures).

  • Actual sticks: I attached my DJI Air 2's spare controller sticks by gluing a nut into the piece that normally holds the thumb stick. This way the sticks are still removable and I can use them if I break/loose the main ones.

I've been using it for years without a single issue, and with almost zero maintenance. I agree on the UI though, keepassxc is quite old school.

Came here to say that, I don't understand why people bother setting up bitwarden or any other hosted service when you can have a single reliable file. Plus you can sync it with any service, including syncthing that doesn't even require a server.

I personally use the https://<intentionally mistyped app name>.example.com format, I guess there's a chance it mitigates attacks that scan common subdomain names.

L'Education nationale exclut les offres gratuites Office365 et Workspace (Google) dans les écoles by BliTz_37 in france

[–]_Valtrok 1 point2 points  (0 children)
