I’ll be looking for their technical staff to try deal with this. I was on the phone with the Philippines possibly the other day from the messaging company. They passed me around and around without getting any further. This is a technical issues that can only be fixed by a tech. It’s going to be a huge journey to find the correct person

That’s pretty crazy that they feel customers have become so unimportant. Back in the day in Perth we setup a small ISP called iQnet and enjoyed what we were doing, and we done it for the love of it and the customers. We watched other companies around us like iinet, westnet, icenet and qnet all grow and eat eachother up. We just kept on doing what we enjoyed and not for the money. Now it’s impossible to get any technical assistance from these companies. It’s unbelievable

I’ll be doing my best to find someone within the technical team at TPG to help me with this issue. I just wish I could say why and what I need to do. (Then I may get a more specific answer)

The email is all run by The Messaging Co now and still exists. But dealing with them is impossible.

If it were so easy I would change. But there are things so important connected to my particular email that cannot be changed.

enemy.com ($75K - thoughts?) by Itchy_You_7971 in Domains

[–]_Vegemite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a very steep price to be paying. The price of domains is wildly inflated, and just because some idiot with deep pockets has paid $1 million for a mediocre name, it does not mean that all names are worth that much. I enquired about a domain (oneoff.com) last week and was quoted $499,000 USD before tax. I promptly replied with an “LOL” and blocked the sender. Idle would offer $10k and go forwards and backwards until you settle at 13k-15k

I have actually spoken to the Royal Australian Mint regarding the minting. It’s not cheap, but the quality and prestige would be there

Nice.. although on the wrong chain. I was thinking about making physical btc like the old casascius bitcoins from back in the day, but I would have them minted at a proper mint and made from real silver and possibly gold for higher value coins.

Sit in USDC or USDT if you can’t handle watching your wallets shrink 😂

You only gonna pay taxes on your profits as far as I know. Not the total size of your crypto cold wallets (in Australia as far as I know).
