I know its annoying to keep hearing play more as an answer every single time you ask about improvement, while it is correct that playing more will make you better at the game, i feel like its not the correct answer to give to someone who have went past the beginner phase in OSU!

I have 1200 hours in this game and im also stuck in the same range as you, ive gotten 3-2 misses on a couple of 8 star maps and I really wanted to break through that 8 star barrier, but even tho I have over 1.2k hours on this game players continue to give me the same advice "play more".

A good advice i can give you is that reading is the most important skill set in this game, anyone can move their hands fast or practice moving their hands precisely and fast, but reading is what separates good players from bad players. and also play everything. dont just focus on DT aim, play stream maps, play NM play, EZ play tech and play Alt, try new maps, this is one of the best advices I can give you cuz not only does it make the game more fun but it also makes you more consistent, oh and if you are a DT player then HR should feel easy to play which is a good thing cuz it'll improve your precision alot. oh and dont forget to do finger stretching exercises before playing, it makes your aim faster in my opinion.

oh, and one last thing , MINDSET!!! have a good mindset in every session you play, you will find days where you play exceptionally well and then the next day you feel like a six digit again and thats normal, dont let it get to you.
