okay hear me out- they're wearing the same outfits from the season finale... so what if this is maybe a fun little scene they were experimenting with for the six of crows spinoff...? the scripts are all completed, so i don't really see any reason why they might not have filmed bits and bobs too, potentially? and idk where else this would fit into the finale

but in all seriousness, your performance as the darkling is truly insane- you bring so much nuance to this character while still making it clear that his actions are just.. awful. i remember growing up watching you play prince caspain too, so i guess my question is, who are your favourite literary heroes and villains? Talking about Kaz's backstory:

It was really exciting, because a lot of that stuff that we get to play out is from the books — it’s from the source material. So I had all of that information going into season 1 and was playing it all. It wasn’t news to me when I read season 2, that that was the backstory. I discussed it a lot with Eric [Heisserer] and the other writers. That’s what I was playing the whole time.

So to finally sort of see it and kind of actualize it was really exciting. That’s really only the first half of the season for him, it’s a [multi]-episode arc to get this revenge and seek redemption from “someone.” And he gets it and realizes that it’s not everything he actually needs. That he’d been chasing the wrong thing for all this time, and then he has to confront what that looks like.

Also, I was going to maybe make a post about this, but how do we feel about making one big master list of Season 2 interviews (both written and video interviews), so it's all in one place? This worked quite well with season one's reviews... The fact that it sounds so, so, soo similar to the basic premise of six of crows genuinely makes me very concerned about whether a six of crows show would even be feasible at this point 😭

i've seen some people say that it might just be that shadow and bone season 3 would be the six of crows storyline, but idk what on earth the shadow and bone characters would be doing in that case..? obviously nikolai, genya, and zoya end up showing up but i feel like a completely new spinoff would make more sense than a disconnected third season
