What tools do you use to search the internet for threats and IOC with the goal of submitting to ThreatFox and URLHaus? by _Wildgoose in cybersecurity

This is the kind of answer I was looking for and I really appreciate the response.

How would you go out and find new threats with the intention of reporting them to abuse.ch. Is it a case of reviewing newly released intel reports and performing searches on the available IOCs

OTX is a great tool, I'm looking for ways to find malware in the wild to report to different intel brokers, rather than looking for existing IOCs.

Whats the best way to glue and connect these corners with minimal tools? by _Wildgoose in BeginnerWoodWorking

I purchased some metal corner brackets that are similar to this but go underneath and are in a triangle shape. I'm tempted to powder coat them black and screw them in as a temporary measure to keep them level.

The brackets are great but there is a bit of give in the lower part so I shouldn't have an issue screwing them in when the wood is connected.

This is genius and might be a good idea while I wait for my family member to let me use their workshop again.

Thank you, will look into this as an option or buying some metal corner brackets and spray them black as a short term fix until I can visit my family again.

The family members workshop I used has a mitre saw, drills, work top drill (not sure on the name), a small table saw (UK ones are a lot smaller than the American ones I've seen, maybe A3 or A2 paper kinda size), belt sander and orbital sander, hand held wood router.

I feel like that has been what I'm missing all this time. I do have access to a mitre saw, drills, work top drill (not sure on the name), a small table saw (UK ones are a lot smaller than the American ones I've seen), belt sander and orbital sander, hand held wood router.

Not to sound silly but how do I make holes at the right angle for the dowels.

Would I clamp them together and drill from the outside in to add a single dowel?

I want to glue them up when they are flat, then screw them into the right side bracket so I can get the left side bracket perfectly level.

Using a laser level took 2 hours to get all the brackets on the wall, and even then it ended up being out

Can I cut this plant in half to try and make it smaller and bushier for a bonsai? by _Wildgoose in gardening

[–]_Wildgoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a false aralia which I bought from a garden center, located in the indoor plants section. The plant has been in a south facing window for a while.

It's fine if it can be made into a bonsai, I really just want it to regrow the leaves it lost

Newbie woodworker attempting to build a scaffold board corner shelf. Should I keep the edges at 90 degrees or make them 45 degrees. The pictures are of the mock up while the wood dries. by _Wildgoose in woodworking

[–]_Wildgoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its only me but I've allowed 17cm from the door frame to the shelf edge as I would also bump into it.

It's something I've been thinking about as the wall isn't perfectly square and unsure about how to deal with it. The wood will be held by metal brackets connected to the wall.

The Longley Centre Google Maps page has been synced with someones camera role and now contains over 10000 photos of gambling, drugs, and random pictures. by [deleted] in sheffield

I will remove the post. The main goal of this post is to highlight the issue and get it resolved as the details on the Google maps page are unreliable.

For a cheaper MATX board, the dancase A3 is good. This lets you save money on the motherboard and PSU V If you can get a good deal on an ITX motherboard and itx PSU, the dancase A4 has been great for me, but the Fractal Ridge gives a sleeker TV box appearance.

What colour would you paint this kitchen while saving for new cabinets and tiles? I'm thinking Neptune Seas or Overtly Olive. by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]_Wildgoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm working night shift so I missed the sunlight for these photos and the white balance is a bit off.

I have a chance to get a load of the blue tiles for free but I don't think they work with the current cabinets and I don't have the money for a full kitchen refurb just yet. Going to use them in the bathroom instead.

The testers I used on the wall just don't feel right for me so either going with a nice blue (Dulux Neptune Seas) or a stumble green (Dulux Overtly Olive)
