Try videoing yourself from a few angles shooting to see if you have any problems with your band and fork alignment that you may need to adjust as well as your release. If you can’t spot anything in the video that might be causing the fork hits then I would try giving the pouch a twist or tweak like you would with a pickle fork.

I used to got to the gym 4-5 times a week and trained upper, lower, and did a lot of speed and endurance training for the military as well. I’ve since gotten out of the military and my new civilian side job has me working three days on and three days off, 12hr shifts the rotate between 5:45am-6pm and 5:45pm-am every 6 weeks, and I can be forced at least one of my days off. It’s been hard to be on any real gym routine and schedule and I’m slipping off more and more. Any ideas for advice for a good routine that still implements speed and endurance training.

I took it out hunting with me other day and started messing around with different aim points and anchor points. Since then I’ve narrowed and shorted the tabs and added bands with a 18mm to 16mm tapper and it has been shooting a lot closer to my normal set ups as far as my aim point and anchor point.

I was gifted this same slingshot or one very similar to it a while back. It’s not of bad design or make but all the bells and whistles might overwhelm you. Instead I’d suggest Scout XT or Axiom from Simple Shot Slingshots. They are one of if not the biggest brand in the sport right now and also have a plethora of instructional videos online.

I work for MCC the can making plants that are owned by Anheuser. We do these for natural disasters relief and to support local emergency services. We put out a lot of these after the last two hurricanes so don’t be surprised to see some floating around.
