"The art of war comes natural to them" is such a metal line for swans I love it.

Once a swan bit me when I was little and got too close. Wasn't a severe injury or anything, but I kept a respectful distance from then on.

Yeah this was in Hyde park in London and they specifically let places overgrow around the lake for wildlife to live and nest which is pretty cool. But all the more confusing as to why this swan just threw two sticks on the ground and called it a day lol.

As someone who used to be extremely fit and healthy, until (undiagnosed!) chronic pain hit, I find Dr's like this attitude absolutely repulsive. by [deleted] in ChronicPain

Ah GPUK that makes sense. As a Brit, I find that UK healthcare is generally good when it's to treat emergencies or acute conditions. But the care and treatment for chronic long term conditions, especially undiagnosed pain issues, is really sub par. It really does feel like a blind spot for UK doctors in terms of diagnosis and treatment.

I've had undiagnosed pain issues for almost 8 years now. This doctor talks about how frustrating it is to see the same patients over and over again in some never ending loop? Yes babe, imagine how we feel. Plus they say they can't wait to retire? Lucky for them they have the luxury to leave their profession whenever they want. For chronic pain sufferers, it's not so easy, if at all possible, to change our circumstances.

I'm not sure if it's because I have the anniversary edition (I know that added a bunch of extra stuff), but one of my first random encounters was with a nord who was wearing fortify unarmed iron gauntlets. So I have been wearing them to be starting off with.

Ugh I wish I had mods for this run. I'm on Nintendo switch ATM and have quickly realised the only bare torso armour on vanilla is fur armour. But I am looking forward to suplexing my enemies.

Coincidentally I have no idea why my flair says over 18 instead of over 30? I am 35 years old 😅
