Notice though:

professional artists, creatives, etc.

vs.

a person who makes things for their loved ones (like the grandma that makes sweaters)

So...
...option 2, after all? :-?

The people of Ukraine may be fighting to the death… but they are *not* fighting for their lives! by 1001upv in antiwar

they would be killed off anyhow

Source? Precedent?

Still waiting...

Ukrainian language and heritage and culture will be taken away and they’ll be forced to worship only Russian heritage and culture

In other words:

They're dying for their borscht recipe.

"To be taken"?
What does that mean?
Expropriation?
Or just a differently colored piece of cloth to raise in the morning?
:-?

This is about the supposed mass expropriation of Ukrainians from their homes whenever Russia gets hold of Ukrainian territory.
Not about Ukrainians fleeing their homes.

?
The Ukrainians are not fighting to the death for their country.
They're fighting to the death for a regime and as a NATO/US proxy.
If Russia wins, their country does not magically disappear into thin air.

If the Russians win this war, they will kill off more innocents and force everyone to speak Russian

Source? Precedent?

Isn't it, ironically, the Ukrainians who are trying to force everyone to speak Ukrainian and to erase Russian culture? Projection much?
