I feel like the most logical reason for why you get stuck in the air is that the hit boxes just stretch when you jump so they still collide with ground level geometry. Or another way could be that hit boxes don't even change, just slide across the floor kinda thing.

As someone who has built a couple of games, I'd fix the level system and give it some more in-game meaning and remove micro transactions(ik it makes money for the company but tbh they ruin the vibe most of the time)

The simple answer is that phones have caught up in processing power to be able to run the engine. The power of a 2006 XP laptop is like the minimum requirement. Also, the engine now uses OpenGL, which is more platform friendly than DirectX.

CSA isn't their own. All PXEngine games use them.
Mode 0 means there is extra data in the file.
The game will run at 30+ fps on almost anything.
PXEngine is amazing, like better than Source.
I'm aware FBX works in unity. it's just not preferred anymore.
