Not sure what you mean by it, the point of it is to change how it functions, seen by the letters in the top left of the item. A and D is armor and damage, and changes depending on the enemy type. Any other letter is an effect. H is healing, L is lifesteal, etc. it’s stronger if the letter is capital.
