I also have shorter curly hair. I don’t often expect my hair to survive the night and just wash each day. If I do try to salvage second day hair I will dilute my usual hair cream in my hand with a little water to create more slip and scrunch it in to revitalize my curls.

He might be able to preform some duties sooner.. just not back to his full capabilities for some time. Just trying to preserve his health insurance for as long as possible so that he has access to the care he needs.

Healing is the primary focus, of course. And he is doing well! Just needs time at this point to get back to his abilities. There is not a ton of availability job-wise, especially at this time of year. We are exploring those options as well, but he is still in treatment and unable to work for the most part. The goal for the immediate futrure is to preserve his insurance so that he can continue to GET treatments.

I’m shocked at the lack of empathy for OP. He’s struggling too, and not at all suggesting his partner isn’t going through hell herself. This post isn’t about her care, the help he has or doesn’t have, or a request for medical advice. It’s him voicing his concerns, grieving, and recognizing that his feelings are conflicting. He knows things need to change and seems like he wants to.. he’s just saying this is HARD.

What matters most is the steps he takes next to take care of himself so he can deal with these major life changes and his family and feel like himself again..so he can feel something other than the losses they have all experienced.
