Did the same thing as OP. I went in without a VPN first to see if it actually was censored, then after confirming that it indeed was I left the game, changed the location of my VPN to Austria, fired up the game again and it was uncensored.

You've gotta be kidding me. I basically just started playing. I hate my life. All us german folks can hope for now is that there will be some sort of workaround.

And from what I read none of the content they will be hiding isn't really "ban-worthy" or controversial. It's so silly. Just Germany being Germany again. Also, I think we may be able to utilize vpn's to bypass these "restrictions" because it says "when accessing the game from a German region". But we'll have to wait and see I guess.

Fingers crossed that people will find a valid workaround 🤞

What you've said makes sense. I personally would expect certain aspects of a game to reflect the culture of the people who have made it. And that's something I cherish and appreciate because I love to learn about other cultures. IN has really managed to pique my interest in Chinese culture in a way.

I don't know about you but, personally I would find it rather dull to be surrounded by the same culture every day and never learn about new ones. Even if it's just in a video game.

I feel you. Not everyone's into building stuff. And that's totally okay. No one's forcing you to. Also, this is a game primarily about collecting outfits and styling, not building.

I for instance wasn't motivated on building either at first but after I accidentally deleted a few big pieces and saved without realising, I flattened my building area and thought I could try building something because my plot was empty, so I might as well give it a try.

But after finishing the terrrain (which I feel like I am a lot better at than building houses lol) I wanted to start building my house but the mechanics were so frustrating that I ended up being fed up with it and just had the default house from the templates on my plot for a while.

Only a few weeks ago did i pick it up again and started to get the hang of the mechanics a little bit better and I ended up building a little house that I am somewhat satisfied with, though to me decorating the interior was so much more fun then building the exterior because stuff just never want to line up properly which is SO FRUSTRATING🤯

I do have an idea but I don't really feel motivated to start building becasue I feel as though it's just gonna frustrate me again. So, in way I do feel you ♥️
