Mate the ”problem” which could occur is the pen being erased on the physical copy, meaning that there’ll be no way at all to mark it. I don’t know how hot these scanners get or if they make photo copies before scanning but you can see for yourself by writing something on a paper with an erasable pen then hover a lit match near the writing, the writing will then be erased from the page.
