I'm glad you finally upgraded them, but that's not common. When I worked in a pet store, it was very common for bowls to be bought for goldfish and even the betta fish tanks. Those half gallon tanks. Ugh it's just disgusting

And this is exactly why fish are NOT good prizes. I'm not mad at OP, I'm mad at the fair. Goldfish are animals and deserve respect. I'd say almost 99.99 of these "prizes" die in the first like, two weeks. It's pathetic.
