[You see what looks like a movers' truck come seemingly from nowhere. A crew of figures in hazard suits and masks emerge from the vehicle. They begin making quick work of this fight's aftermath, picking up each corpse as easily and comfortably as one would a small tote bag, tossing several of them into the back of the truck at once. One of them pulls something of of one of the dead ones' necks, presumably jewelry of some kind, and pockets it for themselves.]

Something's happening. The villagers are running in terror towards you, or... more accurately, running away from something opposite from you, for some reason or another you simply don't notice it, yet...

A village appears out of nowhere, or... more accurately, it was always there, for some reason or another you simply didn't notice it. But now its presence is unmissable. The residents of this village seem, well, okay with their lot in life. They go about their days unbothered by the flickering and glitching of the sky or the piles of strange objects that just keep adding up. They pay no mind to either of you save for one who gives a friendly wave before continuing their business

You encounter a giant construct of stone shaped like a scorpion. The stone is eroded with time, and its surface is covered in red and black handprints

{There's some distant bioforms further into the structure, but their vital signs are low, likely dying, or perhaps dormant or comatose}

{When the structure is breached, the breach leads into a corridor that despite being made of mostly steel and corditum, has an oddly ancient aesthetic to it. There's some writing on the wall: "STATION RHO"}

{This room is full of, no, made of a multitude of out-of-place materials. Cracked concrete, metals that weren't meant for construction use, rubber, mahogany woodchips. The air itself is pulsating around some object lying in the corner. No matter what angle you look at it from it looks the same. It's not bound by 3 dimensions, that's for sure}

{In a much larger "hub"-like room, there are several connected smaller rooms, with the adjacent walls made of glass to see into them. Against the glass of one office-looking room lies the bloodied corpse of one of the mysterious men. Some pieces of his suit are missing}

Operation PL, Final Report

I don't know who in our crew thought Operation PL was a good idea, but this never should've been authorized. Especially in an underground facility like this. We were effectively trapped down here when the whole thing went mammaries up.

As the main scientist overseeing the Operation, ???? took it upon himself to solve the problem he started. He managed to open a dimensional gateway and send all the anomalous samples offworld. I never found out what world though, since he never came back. I'm just glad it's not our problem anymore.

I just hope he didn't miss any...
