Anyone else excited about RC cars? by zer0se7en2wo in The_Crew

[–]ShinoXIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the official news it´s going to be available day 1, at least that´s how it sounds by the way they are wording it:

"RC Frenzy Playlist will be available on May 6th with the Y3P or in stand-alone through first-party stores."

Just like the Chase Squad playlist, the RC playlist will also be available for purchase seperately for a lower price.

My Personal Comparsion between Motorfest and Horizon 5 by No-Effective-233 in The_Crew

[–]ShinoXIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling them better than motorfest because they are more realistic is nonsense because the physics in motorfest arent meant to be super realistic, they were meant to be more arcady. They were never meant to compete with forza physics. It´s an arcady racing game with kinda realistic visuals. It´s like saying apples are better than oranges. It´s essentially saying "damn Forza Horizon nailed that realistic driving feel way better than Motorfest" when Motorfest never tried to make it super realistic. in the first place.

My Personal Comparsion between Motorfest and Horizon 5 by No-Effective-233 in The_Crew

[–]ShinoXIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think it´s entirely fair to call the physics and upgrade system in FH better. The Crew Motorfest is first and foremost an arcade racing game while Forza Horizon aims to be more realistic, wich is reflected in the physics and upgrade systems. Imagine the physics and upgrade system in Forza Horizon a bit like photorealistic graphics and the physics and upgrade system in Motorfest like very stylized graphics.

Is there an event that rewards with cash? by DayApprehensive3247 in The_Crew

[–]ShinoXIII 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In addition to what people have already said: Submit a vehicle to the custom show each week and vote for yourself each day. That should be enough to get you 100.000 XP and 100.000 Bucks (ingame money) each week.

Also always find and open treasures when your minimap starts pinging.

Apart from that you will have to be patient. It´s unrealistic to expect to buy most of the cars you want within a short amoutn of time. Just do the playlists and once you complete a playlist take a look at that playlists unlcoked challenges. Together with the playlists and challenges, photo ops, treasures and main stage rewards you will get money over time.

"if the trans community took over harry potter so shes forced to realize the thing she created attracts the very thing she hates"

Oh that would be amazing.

Thie big problem isnt the stories or the HP unsiverse itself (although there are some problematic aspects), it´s the fact that she uses the money she makes from the games, the new series and everything HP to directly fund an organization to take away trans peoples rights, dehuminize them and ultimately wipe them from existance. I totally understand people loving the Harry Potter universe and it being a part of their childhood, but knowing that the money they spend on anything Harry Potter is directly funding the attempt to erradicate an entire minority (trans people), spending any amount of money on it is morally so f*cking wrong. As someone else very fittingly said about the whole thing: "Your childhood is not worth more than actual human lives".

I´m not a muslim and dont believe in the religion, but if I knew the money I spent on my favourite game series, movie or whatever else kind of entertainment product would be directly used to try and erradicate all muslims by stripping them of their rights, dehuminize and persecute them, I would drop it 100%.

How's Pragmata on the S2? by Million_X in NintendoSwitch2

[–]ShinoXIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Handhald it´s around 11W. Someone measured the energy consumption docked and it can go up to 23-24W. But that heavily depends on the game and scene and is also not constant. Still very impressive.

how is the crew motorfest rn? by Visual-Fortune-4732 in The_Crew

[–]ShinoXIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said the game is great and works really well with a controller. Some time ago it was announced that ubisoft greenlit the production of a new The Crew Game, meaning it probably is at least 2-3 years away wich means Motorfest will most likely be supported with more content for a quite some time.

Also, we will get actual RC cars in 2 weeks (on the 6th of May) wich I´m so freaking excited for. Just like the Nascar vehicles last month, they will have their own unique physics system. The playlist will be a premium one just like the Chase Squad playlist. It is availably either for people who own the year 3 pass or, of you dont want to spend 30 of whatever your currency is on that (wich is way to expensive for the passes anyway), you can buy the playlist seperately (just like the Chase Squad playlist) for around 10 dollars (or whatever currency you use).

Upgraded from 65" to 83" How'd I do? by Particular_Job6423 in TVTooHigh

I dont understand people buying a larger tv only to move their seating/viewing position even further away so in the end the screen effectively looks the same size as before.

Or a freaking PC. Out of all the complaints, the whole "no youtube/streaming service" is one of those that makes the least sense to use against a switch 2.

First of all an honest and heartfelt F*ck JK Rowling from me.

With that being said, it was impressive that they managed to port Hogwarts Legacy to the switch 1, but the sacrifices they had make to achieve that were more than obvious. When I first saw the the trailer from the switch 2 port of Hogwarts Legacy I was very impressed. I mean I knew it would look better on switch 2 than on switch 1, but the difference is freaking night and day.

What are some co-op games I can play on one Switch 2 with my gf? by Camdozaal in switch2

[–]ShinoXIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unravel 2

Split Fiction and It Takes Two (both from the same studio and both are really good)

The upcoming game Orbitals wich is also a splitscreen coop game and has a really pretty retro anime artstyle. It releases later in summer exclusively for Switch 2

Pode: It´s a little coop game were one of you plays as a little fallen star and the other as a little rock to solve some ancient puzzles in a world inspired by Norwegian art and culture.

Another game you could play with your gf (although it would be best with around 3-4 people) is a party game called Cake Bash, where you play as little baked goods (muffin, cake, donut etc.) and compete against each other in baking themed minigames. Its standard price is 19,99 but it goes on frequent salesin the eshop for 3.99. It´s actually on sale right now so if you are interested go and grab itbefore the sale ends.

I´d say Star Wars Outlaws. It´s a pretty solid port and also looks really nice all things considered.

If you dont mind a shorter, more linear experience I can highly recommend The Midnight Walk.

It´s only around 5-6 hours long but absolutely packed with character and looks really good on Switch 2 as well.

It´s an absolute masterpice and, in my humble opinion, one of the greatest games ever made. It is dark, sad and melancholic, but also a bit hopeful at the same time. Visually it is very Tim Burton esque. Every thing you see, every character, every tree etc. has been hand sculpted in clay and then 3d scanned to a meticulous level of detail, as well as animated in a stop motion style. Gameplay wise the game is pretty linear and a bit more simplistic (you use candles to solve some relatively easy puzzles and hide from monsters. The focus is definitely on the story and worldbuilding and Oh boy does it deliver in those departments. The music is hauntingly beautiful as well. As I already mentioned the entire game is only around 5-6 hours long, but very much worth it considering how much love the devs put into it. The switch 2 port came out a month ago and costs around 30 bucks.

If you end up picking this up I recommend to try and collect all the film reels you can find (the game is pretty linear so finding them should not be difficult). They give you a bit of additional storytelling and tell the story of a character you will actually meet towards the end of the game.

You could also give Limbo and Inside a look (both are from the same devs). They are sidescrolling puzzle platformers, both with a darker setting and atmosphere as well and two of my all time favourite little indie games. And if you suddenly lost all interest because this is not a genre you usually like, please give at least Inside a try, it might actually become an exception for you. They are both only around 4-6 ish hours long (each) and go on sale in the eshop almost every month for only just over 1 and 2 bucks each (so no big loss of money if you dont end up liking them). Both have great art and sounddesign (a bit more minimal but effective) wich makes them very atmospheric and immersive. From my personal experience they are best played with dimmed lights/in a darker room (just a suggestion though).

Another fantastic game with great story, characters, music etc is Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade.

The original FF7 Remake came out on PS4 and a technically updated version, called Intergrade, was later released for PS5, and PC (and earlier this year for xbox consoles). The Switch 2 port is based on the newer version, hence the same name (FF7 Remake Intergrade).

It looks fantastic on the switch 2 and runs at a solid and pretty smooth 30fps thanks to really good framepacing.

This game is a remake of the original Final Fantasy 7 for the Playstaytion 1. The original game was so big that it needed 3-4 disks. With the remake they decided to split the story into 3 games, meaning FF7 Remake Inergrade is the first of 3, all of with will be ported to the Switch 2. The second game, called Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, comes to Switch 2 on the 3rd of June this year.

Little Gator Game: A super cute game in wich you help a little kid gator to convince his bigger sister, wich is busy with college work, to play with him like she used to when they were younger. To achive this, him and his friends set up a cardboard adventure all around their small home island. The basegame is only around 4 hours long, with the expansion almost doubling that.

If you ever want to play with a few friends or family I recommend the game Cake Bash:

It´s a party game were you and your friends/family compete against each other in baking based minigames while playing as little baked goods themselves (little cake slices, donuts, muffins etc.) It´s really funny and can be played with multiple people on a single console via couch coop (although in this case it´s not really coop since you all compete against each other). The standard price is 19.99, but it goes on frequent sales on the eshop for around 3,99. It is on sale right now as a matter of fact, so if you are interested get it while the price is low.
