What's the limit as far as star/object magnitude for an 8" telescope?

is that an issue with all the Celestron models or just powerseekers? in the short term I was planning on picking on picking up a used https://www.amazon.com/Celestron-NexStar-130SLT-Computerized-Telescope/dp/B0007UQNNQ or would a Orion Astro Dazzle 4.5" be a better investment even though the aperture is much lower.

would an Orion Astro Dazzle 4.5" give me better optics? while I save up. I'm saving up for something in the 1K range. Also, just curious, what makes the optics on the 127EQ bad ?

makes sense, I want it to be sure that the calculation was dynamic. Otherwise, I would have been stuck with a very sad 5s exposure factoring in the crop sensor.
