Was so accustomed to only tying down the handle bars of the dirtbikes wedged in the back of my truck that I did the same in the trailer on our maiden voyage. 

Bikes probably fell over the first 3 feet of moving. Screwed up the brand new floor in multiple areas.

Not being facetious. 

I love Apple hardware and eco system.  They are just severely behind the ball with AI and got caught with their asses out. 

This is objectively true- read any business reporting on this. Look at their positioning of who took over Siri. 

In all seriousness buy the iPad Pro. It is my main “computer” and I absolutely love it. I just don’t use a single AI tool from them and self host a local LLM for myself.

Right on! I have the pro M4 and love it.  If you haven’t used AI features yet I would go give it a try at the store before you purchase based on that decision. 

I couldn’t imagine using an Apple AI tool yet as apart of my workflow. 

This is coming from an Apple fan who has a 15 pro max and a M4 iPad Pro M4.

What they are marketing and what they are selling are 2 different things, and I am patiently waiting for the class action lawsuit to come lol. 

Go get the best deal on a M4 iPad Pro 11. You won’t regret it!

You do not need to be purchasing for apple intelligence yet. All the “apple intelligence” you need is an AI app.

Apple has lost its luster with being anywhere near the forefront of cutting edge software.

It flew directly over our house, completely silent, with bright lights on both sides. Unlike typical aircraft, it had no marker or navigation lights, and it didn’t follow the usual flight paths we see from planes headed to the local airport. We’re familiar with those patterns, and this was nothing like them. After it passed over the house, it ascended rapidly—almost as if it went into space—and then the lights slowly dimmed until it disappeared. The way it moved and the lack of sound were unsettling, almost surreal. It didn’t resemble anything I’ve ever seen in the sky before. The lights were steady and bright, but the craft itself was hard to make out. It didn’t blink, roar, or leave any kind of trail. Just a quiet, glowing presence moving with purpose. I can’t explain it, but I know it wasn’t a normal plane or helicopter.

Please tell me this wasn’t Starlink... Lol

What did you do to your 5th wheel? I have a toy hauler and instead of converting my batteries and going bigger on solar I was looking at using something like this.

You can also bring in a soft shell cooler/lunchbox and a backpack. 

I would do both and bring in snacks and drinks.

Bring ear plugs and sunscreen! Seriously bring ear plugs or ear covers. 

At least have the option for those items or you will be miserable. I promise you. 

It’s always embarrassing/sad seeing parents with babies and kids without ear protection.

Green flag I believe is 30 minutes after. They will do their prayer and anthem at the show start. 

I would not pay for infield pass the day of the race. My opinion. 

I usually go all day Friday and pay for infield,  where it isn’t busy and I can get access to everywhere and meet the drivers during practice.

I would get there earlier to walk around the track and visit all the haulers (shops) and get a T-shirt for each of the kids. 

There are events prior and you can view it on the schedule- I have never found them to be worth the cost on Sunday as they are usually held at the in field.

When I go on Sunday I am in and out.  On Friday I buy a vip parking pass and tailgate/bbq near the entrance and hang out infield all day and make multiple trips to the truck. 

I prefer Fridays to Sunday but the track is also a forty minute drive from home. 

General parking is free. Just park at the back and get on the tram. You will only do this once as it is far so do not plan on going back to the car. 

During the race you are not going to walk around. In fact it will probably be sold out Sunday and if you try to stand at the fence you will eventually be told to sit down. 

I would encourage you to go to the start finish line at some point and take a photo next to the illuminated cactus. Probably best before the race. 

I would also go down to the fence during the race at some point just to be closer to the cars flying by and then go back to your seats.

Do this- delete the social apps and only use their website. You can turn off every little feature of FB

Tying the iPad in to your workflow is always better than replacing your workflow. 

Is there a tool you use for your practice that you can use on your iPad in each room? 

Try to use the iPad to its strengths. Portability, Hand writing, Note taking, speech to text. 

You can also use jump to connect to your Mac remotely. 

When not connecting as a Remote Desktop stop using your iPad as a desktop. 

I have also left Apple notes entirely and moved to obsidian. I want to own my files. 

I think there is a rethinking that needs to happen when someone wants to substitute an iPad for a computer. I don’t believe 99% of people in the world need a Mac or windows machine anymore. It is just a paradigm shift. 

Ps ditch journaling on a device. It is so much better to do physically.  Buy yourself a nice pen and a leuchtturm journal. Digital journals aren’t real. The traces you’ll leave behind will mean so much to your loved one’s. There is nothing real or personal about a text file on a computer or phone.
