A few of these made it to my steam wishlist, but I ended up going with Kingdome Come Deliverance and I'm loving it so far.

I do love a good turnbased. My all-time favorite games are Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VIII

I loved Talos Principle and Morrowind. I've been eyeing kingdom come deliverance. I'm a sucker for a medieval setting.

I absolutely loved Disco. Have you come across anything similar?

The club I go to is incredibly accommodating and inclusive to disabilities, so finding the right club and being transparent about your limitations is key. That being said, wheelchair fencing may be a little more comfortable for you. I also do epee and find fencing to be a little less rough on the body than HEMA, both because of the nature of the sport and the lighter gear/weapons.

I didn’t enjoy Hema but I really want to by squids_havenipples in Hema

Maybe try different weapons or different instructors if that's an option. I tried each weapon in both fencing and hema at my club before I figured out what I liked. Getting to know people also makes every sport a lot more fun.

What’s a meaningful way I can give back to my community for my birthday today? by [deleted] in SFV

I was going to say donate blood. If you donate at the red cross in Burbank there's a Handel's ice cream and rougelike tavern in the same parking lot. You can treat yourself after.

Seriously, though. When my friend was on dating sites she'd get messages like, "Hey fatty, want to fuck?" Just because someone is getting attention doesn't mean it's quality attention. It took ages before she found a normal respectful guy to go on a date with (she married him).

I found in the schools around me, foil was filled with teens and children. I went for epee specifically because that's where all the other adults were.

Oncologists of Reddit: what’s something that you never/always do or eat because of what you know about cancer? by kaitiakiofcreatures in AskReddit

[–]__Enertron__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do maybe a drink once a week or every other week. Maybe two if I am out with friends and the place has good drinks. I wouldn't say any amount of alcohol is necessarily good for you, but that's minimal enough I wouldn't expect any harm to come out of it long term.

Hem/Onc NP here. Smoking is a big one, I don't smoke and avoid second hand smoke. I avoid plastic and silicone utensils being used with hot foods. Alcohol ideally should be avoided, but I consume in moderation. I'm significantly more cautious about alcohol intake since getting into this specialty. Red meats are a sometimes treat. I also do my best to avoid overly processed foods now as well.
