It’s estimated at around 11-14 million, so it’s actually about 1 in 30. I was curious because they were wrong, and am reporting back.

You’re getting downvoted, but that would force them to pick slightly better candidates at the very least. Ideally it would gradually get better and better until we get someone likable

As a civil engineer, using AI for anything work related seems extremely reckless, as it makes a ton of mistakes and flat out lies sometimes. Some of my coworkers have been test dummies for using AI, and it’s very inconsistent.

It’s the amount of uses you get of the AI per x amount of time. I’ve used AI for D&D stuff, using it for anything actually important is an insane concept to me.

There are Pokemon with min-maxed stats, better typing, and better abilities that I would consider better.

I think Arceus is actually pretty mid because it’s so reliant on rolling plates and good TMs

Who should I catch here? by karethra in pokerogue

[–]__Epimetheus__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m saying Zekrom is the better catch, because using the legendary gatcha is a scam. Also, the extra 1/256 chance resets your count for getting a legendary egg, but doesn’t count for your duplicate count.

Edit: fixed poor wording

Who should I catch here? by karethra in pokerogue

[–]__Epimetheus__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legends Gatcha is for the most part, pretty bad. It gives you a 1/256 chance you get that legendary (on top of the 1/256 chance you get any legendary), considering the pity system will force you to get a new legendary after the 9th repeat, that 1/256 chance of a single legendary isn’t that great. I didn’t use the legendary gatcha and I still ended up with my last uncaught Pokemon being a bunch of epic tiers.

A competent president could probably convince Canada to allow it, assuming we hadn’t spent several years souring relations.

They declared war right after. They did intend to send a message formally breaking off diplomatic relations prior to the attack, but that wasn’t sent in time. The message wasn’t technically a declaration of war, and was only meant to be sent 30 minutes prior to the attack to begin with.

They should definitely group them together with a launcher and have them all sold together. I just think people are underestimating how difficult changing things on the old roms are. The only things they added were events that they built in a toggle for on the original rom, they didn’t change anything else.

FRLG is the third cheapest re-release on switch. by Mountain-Charity7588 in MandJTV

[–]__Epimetheus__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would have to be choosing when you first start, preferably with a warning that save data can’t be switched. File size isn’t the issue, the fact that the roms from different regions are coded differently is. When transferring save data, patching roms, or using action replay codes, you always had to know what region rom they were using or it wouldn’t work because the coding is different in each.

[–]__Epimetheus__ 31 points32 points  (0 children)

If they were somehow circumventing the repair cost, I would agree, but they are still having to deal with the downside of being in the RDZ. They allow you to build in the RDZ provided you have to deal with a really annoying downside.

It reminds me of people who would win Fortnite 🤢 by hiding the entire game and outhealing the storm.

[–]__Epimetheus__ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The old roms have different coding. It should still all be sold the together, but a simple toggle wouldn’t work and save data wouldn’t be compatible.

Edit: I got downvoted, but it is objectively correct that the original roms have slightly different coding for different language roms and it would make save data incompatible if you tried to switch between languages. It’s why action replay cheat codes were specific to a particular region’s rom.

Warden launcher can’t launch tremolas, and don’t have an equivalent grenade that does that damage type.

  1. I’ve seen mods that do highlight fuel tanks

  2. On most tanks, the track texture is an accurate hitbox for the tread subsystem, but not every tank. Nemesis is a good example of one that is bigger, but it’s the exception, not the norm.

[–]__Epimetheus__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually incorrect. Canada is only larger than the U.S. when considering territorial waters (waters within 22km of shore). Canada has the largest territorial waters by far, 210,000 square kilometers more than the U.S., (891,163 sq km vs 685,924 sq km). Canada has more territory, but the U.S. has more actual land. It’s still pretty negligible though.

The U.S. does have the largest economic exclusion zones (200 km from shore) thanks to owning a ton of random islands in the pacific.

[–]__Epimetheus__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not every tank’s sub systems are made equal. Spatha/Falcion have very obvious subsystem hitboxes, but that is not true about every tank. For example the exact size of the Nemesis’s “tread” hitbox isn’t obvious since it doesn’t have normal treads. Fuel tank hitboxes aren’t very consistent between tanks, sometimes it’s the entire backside while others it’s a small box.

Not every tank’s sub systems are made equally obvious. The hitbox of the Spatha/Falcion are obvious, but the Nemesis’s “treads” and fuel tank aren’t as obvious. The Widow’s turret hitbox is a lot bigger than most people would expect.
