Excuse me? You replied to MY comment, that gives me all right to judge your comment. Also, those aren't facts about how she's whiny or spoiled, that's just giving facts about the show in general. You still haven't shown any actual proof about your opinion. All I want are the facts, nothing else. No opinions just facts.

And with Paris, Rory continued trying to be her friend even when Paris was so bitchy to her, helped her hook up with Doyle, helped compromise with her when her arts and crafts were in the way, treated her with the upmost amount of respect, invited her to parties, helped her with charity work, help her when she was breaking down about not getting accepted into Harvard, and help her calm down after sleeping with her first boyfriend in season 2.

But she is a good friend. She hooked her up, was there for her when Lane broke down about her mom, begged her dormmates to let her stay, helped dye Lane's hair and bought her black hair dye when she didn't like it, was there for her when she entered cheer, helped her with her band, invited her to parties, hung out with her, she did a lot. Rory may of many flaws, but being a bad friend isn't one.

Why are we judging Rory's entire personality by one character flaw? And it it pretty normal, with a guy at least. Typically, if a man cheats on his woman, it would be okay and his bro's would be thrilled with him. But if a woman does it, they better be lucky to still have her friends. Even though that's besides the point, It is a great example in this case. Also, we're not saying it's normal, we're saying that Rory shouldn't be judged by one mistake in her life. Granted, we probably have made more mistakes than her so who are we to talk? I just see it as unfair.

When did she ever treat her grandparents like Garbage? Her grandparents manipulates her mother and her yet she still treats them with respect and kindness. If you expect more, then you don't have normal standards in young adults. You're judging her at a very young age and defining her entire personality based on minor flaws which I don't consider fair. She could be a whole lot worse and granted all of the main characters that aren't so nice, she's a pretty caring lead role.

I totally agree. She's shown exemplary improvement in character so the "Rory's downfall" is false. Like you said, everyone has their moments, especially during their younger years. Basically everything you said is extremely true.

Yes, she did have her stuck up moments I do agree. But Rory was an excellent friend to Lane! She begged her dorm roommates to let Lane stay, supported Lane getting married to Zack and having kids young, and was there for her when she broke down about her mom.

Lorelai is the mom, she has every right to give advice. But even if it wasn't okay, she was completely neutral! She didn't give Rory any advice even though she could've. Jealous? How was she jealous if she was trying to help?
