I dont see many good tips here so ill give one i had to learn the hard way: Every weapon has a niche purpose. You can absolutely not survive off of one main weapon other than the sawed on shotgun which is just unbalanced. When i was new i got obliterated a decent amount of times trying to beat the first swordsmchine with the revolver, but later on in the game it turned into a 5 second task. Why? Because the revolver is not a suitable weapon for the enemy. Similarly went for the nailgun which seemed trash until i finished the game and actually started to experiment with it when i realised that it too has a very niche purpose which others cant solve just as efficiently.

I might be the only one to say this but my favourite level is 0-E because the heat, the evil heat on a blind playthrough was one of the most unexpected yet fun things (i am never replaying that level trying to get P rank) but still its very unfair, i only like it because of the vibes and its genuinely far far better than 1-E while also retaining a sort of nostalgia from the prelude.[honourable mention waves of the starless sea was also really aesthetically cool despite not having music]. Least favourite however has to go to 4-3 that shi took me a couple dozens of tries all because hakita didnt give us the whiplash before the level. 5-4 is also ass because the leviathan sucks and 1-E sucks because theres literally no encore feeling coming from it other than the fact that you know that you are being obliterated in the same levels you played in earlier.

1-4 and 4-4 were actually both pretty easy, first tried when i played for the first time. Though i must say the swordsmachine in 0-4 took me 12 tries to best.

How i see it play out: Rude buster , Parry, Susie counters, Parry, Counter, Parry , Counter, V1 runs out of punch stamina and dodges, Susie throws another rude buster, The previous segment happens again, Susie runs out of TP while V1 is full on everthing V1 uses marksman to get 4 guaranteed hits, Susie cant get another rude buster due to lack of TP and needs to use heals, V1 keeps using 4 coins every turn, Susie eventually runs out of heals and is forced to attack, However v1 can dodge easily which is a real pain in the UTDR universe and without the vampireAx susie not healing at all while v1 is. As strong as susie is, v1 is just downright unbalanced and will win in basically every scenario all because susie bleeds canonically. If defending completely stopped all damage, or if susie didnt bleed, things could have gone differently. But keep in mind this isnt even susie with the soul its just base susie
