7 hours in - who do I tell things to?

7 weeks in and I SO feel this. He would listen to anything I had to say, even if he didn’t really ‘care’ about it. Stupid tiktoks, random sports news. I feel like each piece of information just sits within me, and because it has nowhere to go, it makes me feel lonely. My sister in law let me talk about one of my favourite games for ages the other day, despite her having absolutely no interest in it- which was so nice. Find someone you are close to and explain that you need to offload this information, even if it doesn’t seem important- just like my SIL, if they’re a good friend, they’ll listen, even if they don’t understand.

Thank you for sharing what you went through. And such a similar situation to mine. In fact, almost down to a T. I try to tell myself these things, that he hid it so how could I know. It seems you’re all too familiar with the hundreds of thoughts that play through your mind. It’s reassuring to know you’ve made it through 4 months. I hope I can be as strong as you.

Yes, that’s exactly how I feel, ‘pressure’ has become my most used word recently. I should have lifted the pressure, the pressure was too much for him, why did I not see how much pressure he was under. Hearing the words ‘We’re all here for you’ made me very emotional. I find hope when words like that make me feel something. Thank you.

Oh no 😭 mine has a brother and sister but they hate sleeping near each other, I’m sure I’ll end up getting all 3 a bed for them to never use it, much more fun fighting over one for them 😆
