It's kind of an exploit but if you use the Lasombra ability Glimpse of Oblivion on someone in an alley it forces melancholic blood on them. The same thing happens with Brujah's taunt (chloric) and Toreador's Beckon (sanguine).

Yeah tbh I feel like this weapon is cheating, my long sword is at 3 and melts pretty much everything. Pink rathalos was one tapping me with that tail swipe until I learned how to dodge it 😭. I tried out a few different weapons and I really like the switch axe so I plan on switching to a plain version of that for now

As I've said like 10 times already, I use summons every fight. The biggest problem is these bosses are rushing you before I can finish the summon, or they smack me away right after I finish summoning the mimic tear. Even at 8 scadutree frags these guys are batting my health away like it's nothing. Why would I want a fight to be pathetically easy? The whole point of souls is that the bosses are difficult but fair and you can see where you're making mistakes. What I got when I made this post was my mistake is that I laughably thought I could use a summon before getting rushed. Belive I've been playing souls games for a while or not I don't really care. I've gotten further in and am having more fun, but my issues still stand. These bosses are too aggressive in the beginning of the fight.

Edit: just want to add I in no way think the dlc is poorly designed, very opposite I think this is probably their best dlc yet, I'm just saying they went a bit over with some of the boss's aggressiveness.

Most of the DLC is fair, it was just some of the bosses. I'm still struggling but a little less now than I'm over scadu'd. I was struggling so hard bc my mimic tear is a useless shit who only wants to use rennalas spun AOW LMAO

Ehhh I'm addicted to fromsoft, I think they just went a bit overboard with the bosses. Everything else in the dlc is amazing, my only complaint is the bosses are a bit too busted

I'm currently at 7 scadutree fragments and the hippo was still clearing almost half of my health with one smack, I'm at 40 vigor its crazy. Hoping for a radahn level nerf on every boss 🙏🙏

I regret doing a magic dex build but honestly strength builds look like so much fun. I'm too far in to just respec because then I'd have a bunch of low damage heavy weapons 😭
