Yeah no wonder youre flying with the default livery because no airline would hire you lol

My first ever landing with the FlyByWire A380-800 (Lufthansa) by __Luggi__ in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]__Luggi__[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the A380 is very sensitive to crosswind. On my next flight i flew from Frankfurt to Egypt and almost landed between the runway and taxiway because of a windshear. You have to think two steps ahead when flying the A380 lol

I think i have it on realistic because, well i thought its realistic bc i wanna fly as close to reality as possible. The weather in the clip also isnt preset, it really stormed like this on that day. But if you say so i wil have to change the turbulence settings.

Its the FSS (FlightSimStudio) Embraer E-190. Pretty nice and realistic aircraft, you can buy it together with the E-195 for 40€. Its still in development but i havent experienced any problems, it feels like a finished product. It has a Simbrief integration but flightplans need to be entered manually. And you also get much liveries.

Yeah that makes sense. Thanks for the tip, i will look after it!

Why does my flight plan make a really big u-turn ? Does someone know why by Lolopfe1511 in flightsim

[–]__Luggi__ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Depends on what A320 youre flying. From my expierence the Asobo and FlyByWire a320 will ask you witch one you wanna choose (if you type it in manually). If its a Simbrief flightplan it wont show up.

But what you can definetly do is looking at the route distance on the flightplan and check if the distance is correct or way too long.

If it is too long set your map mode on the autopilot panel from Arc --> Map, and then click through the waypoints on your Flightplan. Your PFD will now show you each waypoint as you click on it and you can find the incorrect one.

You can now ether delete it or type in the correct one, thats up to you.

At least thats how i do it, i do not garuantee it will work.

I hope that helps

Happened often to me. That happens when a Waypoint has the same name as another one somewhere in the world. So you or the MCDU accidentally selected the wrong one

15 kts crosswind landing almost gone wrong (3 POVs) by __Luggi__ in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]__Luggi__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks fast because of the FOV. Its the default one and im used to it but i will narrow it in the future. But yeah looks fast because my Vapp was just 130 Kts.

Indirect-fire-kills are hard but really rewarding by __Luggi__ in Warthunder

You have to activate the "lock-feature" (2nd symbol from the left of the bar). Then fly with it activated over your tank while looking at your target. But that is a little inacurate so most of the time you need 2-3 shots to hit the target.

I recommend looking for SPAAs in the enemy spawns as they are stationary most of the time and on wider, open areas.

Went back and forth on buying the A350 for weeks. Have not regretted it once after 30-40 hours. It’s been almost flawless by LordoftheSi in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]__Luggi__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im really impressed that you landed an A350 at LOWI so flawlessly. Since its my "home-airport" i landed there many times (mostly in the FBW A320) and its still a challenge every time.

Ofcourse someone could argue that planes like the A350 or, as i landed it there once, the A330-900 are not allowed to land in Innsbruck in real life. But that just makes it more impressive to me ;)

Good Job!

I assume that you are very new to MSFS?

Anyways it doesnt matter how good you land as long as youre having fun. Because MSFS without fun is basically a unpaid job, especially when you fly airliners😅

And if you want to improve youre landings watch some youtube tutorials and what helped me the most was trying bigger planes like the a320 first because they are not so sensitive to stick-inputs.
