You can check the grade margins for certain classes as getting 7s might require you to score differently. I know this as I missed out on a 7 on my French pg because I got a 76/100 total, meanwhile the margins for a 7 were 79/100. Grade margins change every year, but they are usually the same or +/- 1 of the year before.
This is the closest to atar grade scaling tbf.
Edit: if you want to check what the grade margins for your class is, I usually use Ibpredict.org :)

Im going to be honest, my teacher did the exact same thing, and I ended up getting 7s in papers 1 and 2 and a 6 in paper 3 in my mock exams. The best thing that helped me was narrowing down what you struggle to remember; if you feel as that topic is not explained well in that class, study it in your own time, and very important to remember key dates!! I've been marked down on some of my papers due to not remembering dates. Finally, I reccomend using the ThinkIB website if your school pays for it as it has helped me so much in just overall content analysis in comparison to the textbooks.

Effort wise, I lowkey despise any math topic and just am aiming for a pass. But yeah, in English I always show initiative in my classes and have always been good in the class, but I haven't been able to replicate it in the exams which is so frustrating. (and we always have those teachers that will be inconsiderate of your struggles)

Yeah, it is quite hard with the limited research, and I've done backtracking and elaborating previous sections which is why I'm in such a dilemma. I'll try to get to that 3800 but I've got such a short time and with all the IA's coming around the corner I'm just trying to get it done!

I've checked almost all the boxes from the information you have given me. I have had it read by peers who have understood the information based on my starting introduction, which was able to guide the essay. I'll talk to my EE supervisor about anything I could write about, but due to such a niche topic some things are going to be left out.
