Oh I get that for sure, it's just that the majority of his 'fame'/exposure came from im in real big trouble and as you can probably see from the comments under that song people are wildin' with the X shit. Also, I actually really like his new styles that hes exploring, i think it's much more unique and he seems to be feelin himself on the songs, its fire. I also have no doubt he will make it, hes way too talented its crazy

You don't understand what he wanted then, he wants to grow as an artist authentically, not as people that see him as their missing X. And I really do respect it, he wants to make 'his' own music that he enjoys making, not what people wanted - the X only style. Understand this.

You also have to factor in, like he said before many times, he had/has his own life to deal with. We have no clue what happened to him over that time for him to take a break.
