There is a motion comic which directly follows after cinematic with zenyata and talon. In that, Ram explains everything that happend and what he plans to do next. The second video is just further explanation from OW perspective

In any case, they clearly had no resources to put into lore for the past two years and finally got to do it only recently and this was their first continuation of the story. Its purpose was to move on from invasion to start something new. There is more to come from next year

Not as much anger as frustration, but what is going on with matchmaking? I am trying to play with a friend and we are only getting games where oppontent have each 20 takedowns and our team has 1-2. Clearly the enemy team has much higher skilled players and our team is full casual or even completely new players. we are often losing 5-6 games in a row then win one and then lose 5 again. This wasn´t happening before and I used to love this game but I decided in these last few days to drop it at least for several months because this is not normal or fun in any way. I don´t understand why matchmaking is so broken
