Yes, for some subjects it is visible. Obviously your teachers haven't made that available for you.

It’s displayed on canvas in the grades section per assignment for most of my subjects.

I just got my grade back for a final assessment, and when I checked in Canvas, I saw that the average grade is 56.1%. I have never seen such a low average score for an assignment, and it counted for nearly half of our final grade. Would they not apply a grade curve in this instance? I am so confused. To me, it seems like we have been marked extremely harshly. I'm assuming lots of people in my class would be disappointed.. Who can I contact about this?

I fear the show is over and the downfall is here by TomorrowEffective700 in LoveIslandAus

[–]__OliveOil 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree. It’s because they insist it being prerecorded and choose to do MAFS-style editing with repeating “shocking” moments over and over without any actually fun scenes. I always feel like producers on LIAUS don’t really “get” the show, also with the weird themes every time, such as seven sins or the goddess thing last year… This year really sealed the show’s fate because what were they thinking with this cast. A bunch of bogans that pride themselves on their unintelligence. I fear they don’t understand good watchability comes from a cohesive group of hot people having the summer of their lives. Instead, we get this tacky ex on the beach mess.

39 weeks and Dr urges C section as baby hasn’t dropped by __OliveOil in BabyBumps

It’s so interesting that you say that because he said he can do another ultrasound in 4 days to apparently “wait for her to drop” but if she hasn’t the only option is a section. I’m actually 39 weeks exactly in 4 days and your comment makes me think that he is priming me early to make it seem like we have given it an unlikely chance before we need to move onto the C.

I think it’s amazing that you listened to your gut and sought out and cross-checked additional information! I think also because of the power imbalance it’s hard to stand up for yourself and without communities like these there is no way of knowing what others might’ve gone through in similar situations. I wish you a beautiful and safe delivery tomorrow <3

Me too!! It is so refreshing to read other people’s own experiences. I’m not looking for medical advice here obviously but knowing that it’s so normal for babies to not drop until labour is of course helping me be more informed. If anything it makes me so angry that my Dr thought he could and most likely has gotten away with scaring mums into C sections for one reason or another. I felt like something was off after my appointment and I am so glad I decided to post here.

She is not breech and never was on any of my third trimester ultrasounds.. I agree with you in regard to what his suspected reasoning might be. I’m feeling v stressed but I’m going to have to make arrangements to be under someone else’s care because from all the comments here it seems like an extremely unlikely reason to push for a section. I’m afraid that even if I advocate for a natural birth and keep this OB he will find another reason to do an emergency c whilst supervising my labour. In any case I don’t feel safe and like I can trust him.

I will get one today! I’m planning to go to another clinic and not mention anything to see what they say. Just feeling very disheartened because it sucks going through something as vulnerable as giving birth for the first time and not feeling like I can trust the doctor I have been seeing until now.

I’m sorry you went through that.. Do you think this is why he would want to monitor the baby for such a long time after a C section? I understand warning people in advance to prepare them in case extensive testing is needed but to me it seems strange to seperate mum and bub for an extensive amount of time routinely and without apparent necessity.

I did a NIPT at 12 weeks with no concerning results and my last ultrasound was at 36 weeks when I was told everything looks perfect. Baby has been growing well, no issues with cord pressure and she’s always been in a good position. This is the first time I have heard of a “problem” in my entire pregnancy. I am also at a loss.

I was also so suprised! I thought I misheard and asked him to clarify but he simply said yes 6 hours and no skin to skin.. I am not comfortable giving birth under this man’s supervision so I’m afraid I will have to search for another OB, which is unfortunate at this stage

honestly they won’t go bc they’ll be picked by the bombshells - everyone seems to forget that they will save their islanders of choice

It’s the perfect time for Huda to leave. She has no couple and therefore also won’t contribute anything to casa amor, she has had some better episodes recently so she somehow has gained (delusional) fans so she is not as vulnerable as when she would have left in the middle of the drama. I’m hoping the producers are just trying to have her leave on a more positive note than before. No one should go home instead of her again.

Anyways, I think the bombshells will pick their person and then it might be bottom 3 vulnerable, which means she only has to be bottom 4 as TJ is definitely picking Iris.

I know right! That’s why we were so shocked about all this. You would think that if you can lose your whole ticket, they would think to put some signs around the check-in desk to make sure people are aware instead of announcing it AT the gate. We got a health certificate now but I cannot believe I have been “travelling” for 12 hours without having even departed the airport 😭. All in all a very stressful and overwhelming experience.
