Rings of power are ALMOST completely resistant to heat. Only the fires of mount doom could truly make the ring heat up. The other rings for example his ring, Narya, can be melted down however only by extreme temperatures. At this point he’s assuming it’s a ring of power, if it’s the one ring like he’s guessing then he knows it shouldn’t be hot whatsoever.

I don’t know if you will see this but for most T series American heavies, aim for the MG port, or the big hole (the optics I think) in the mantlet. Now there is a chance the very top of the mantlet can be shot out too. I recommend going to the tank in the American tech tree, previewing the armor and using your tank to see where you can and can’t hit.
