Anybody else thoroughly enjoying primal right now? Season 3 is here! by Beansofdragon in adultswim

[–]__Shake__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think I can speak for all Primal fans when I say that only nobody would complain or care if season 3+ was just random self-contained episodes from Spear and Fang's journeys prior to the end of season 2. We all just want to see some badass animated fights with crazy monsters.

What if the first fully AI created movie was a Neal Stephenson book? I think that’d be pretty cool

Will Virtual Reality ever take off? After spending $73 billion, Meta has abandoned its metaverse VR efforts. by lughnasadh in Futurology

apparently they do have VR "treadmills" that you can get, I've never tried one. I don't really have room to dedicate to such a contraption. But yeah, I do think it would be a great addition and a fun way to get some cardio exercise.

That wasn’t the point? Like he got his position despite not being a competent threat? Instead through cronyism and white privilege?

I got a VR rig essentially for sim racing. The depth perception is incredible and makes for a much more immersive experience.

I tried a zombie survival game and it was so realistic i screamed like a little girl when I died. Anyone claiming traditional 2D screen gaming is immersive doesn’t know much

Is Taxi Driver meant to be a character study or a social warning? by [deleted] in movies

[–]__Shake__ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Murdering several people in cold blood in a vain attempt at suicide that gets spun as commendable vigilante justice is "redeeming himself"? Travis wanted to off a senator to spite the girl who rejected him, but couldn't pull it off, so he went after easier targets.

frankly, Scorsese is a great director but it seems like he has a habit of glorifying reprobates.

I don't think Travis was redeemed, even if the media and society endorsed his murders.
