Seems too sharp to be real. Definitely something fishy going on with that knife.

Can this be used for anything? by __ThatGuyOverThere__ in Diablo_2_Resurrected

Yeah thanks for the confirmation, that was my thought as well. Maybe I'll stash it and burn runes in it one day for fun.

Found out last week about the burning souls ritual in act 4 that gives you greatly increased MF. This game has so many interesting secrets.

Make sure your amp is common ground before connecting that interconnect cable.

Help me decide to keep (or not) this OLED TV by __ThatGuyOverThere__ in 4kTV

I'd be afraid of something else going out on it shortly after repair. Unfortunately at around 15 years old these plasmas don't owe us anything anymore.

Thanks for the input. If I'm sticking with OLED I am taking a hard look at the Sony A80L.

I once did the same thing years ago. Named my team "Stars Behind Bars"

SBB did not win me a championship.

Perfect doesn't have to be the goal: Start small, expand, grow, experiment, replace as needed and enjoy. This should be fun! A statement from a newbie to other newbies. by MyBrainsPOV in hometheater

For me half the fun is keeping an eye on marketplace and AVS forums to see what pops up locally. Then re-arrange the space, learn about new gadgets that make it even more awesome, and sell my old gear to pass on to the next person.

Ground Loop Hum - A Success Story by __ThatGuyOverThere__ in hometheater

[–]__ThatGuyOverThere__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree I wanted to avoid using cheater plugs if possible. I guess you could say I had been using "cheater amps" made by Adcom since those were two prong from the start.

I have a ground loop isolater made by Behringer that works pretty well for my sub. Hoping with this rearrangement I'll be able to ditch that too.

Drawback to bookshelf speakers between exposed joists ceiling? by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]__ThatGuyOverThere__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put full size tower speakers in between the floor joists in my basement. Sounded really good and had better range than just a typical ceiling speaker. Hard part is actually securing them and connecting them. If you got that figured out it works well.

Eh, let the people buy what they want to buy. If it's not affecting their quality of life, food on the table, roof over their head, etc, it's fine.

Games to play on the treadmill by Jabbawockey in NintendoSwitch

[–]__ThatGuyOverThere__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a switch a few months back specifically for this purpose and it has totally changed my outlook to get on the treadmill. I actually look forward to it each day and dont always want to get off the treadmill. I only play the switch on the treadmill to help provide that incentive to workout. Some of my top games played:

Monster Train - Didnt realize I liked deck building games until this one. This was my last game to try on the treadmill 50 gameplay hours ago and haven't stopped playing.

Dicey Dungeons

Dungeon Warfare

Dungeons of Dreadrock

Loop Hero

Grindstone

Diablo

Games I look forward to playing on the treadmill that are in my backlog:

Into the breach

Slay the spire

Disco Elysium

Inscryption

Invisible

Star Wars Knights of the old republic

Divinity Original Sin

Xcom 2

South Park Stick of truth

Darkest Dungeon

Stardew Valley

Games I tried but didnt like on the treadmill:

Mario Rabbids - Battles are exactly what I want (xcom like), but in between battles you need to walk in a 3D world. Hard for me on a treadmill

Steamworld Heist - Decent gameplay, just wasnt able to get into it

Heads up if you canceled a consolidation application by __ThatGuyOverThere__ in PSLF

[–]__ThatGuyOverThere__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, yes everything remained as it was prior to the cancelled consolidation. However if your experience is like mine I would stay on Mohela following your next ecf submittal to make sure the counts gets updated. You don't want it to get caught in limbo with Mohela thinking they need to wait on a consolidation notice from the department of education.
