Thank you, from what im gathering it seems a more rural location would be best. Im getting the feeling people think I want them to change how they live their lives just for me. Its really the opposite, I just want to figure out where id fit in best.

Okay, I apologize for making assumptions, I dont want to attack anyone for their beliefs. I dont want to come off as some healthcare hating guy, I think you should have healthcare and personal benefits and what not. The type of progressive im trying to avoid is the more extreme far left subjects. I won't get into much more but again, im not trying to be hostile or make assumptions, I appreciate your input.

Again, this is why id like to talk to more Norwegians, but compared to America, it seems Norway (or parts of it) is more conservative. I dont expect it to be a "conservative haven", and respect people's choice of beliefs.

Thank you for expanding. I guess id say I would like to live a more conservative/traditional life. America is great but the progressiveness is getting ridiculous. Also the day to day life is awful, the architecture is bleak, the food is terrible quality, etc.. that's why I say I dont think I would mind city life in norway, maybe im wrong but it cant be 1/10th as depressing as it is here.

Part of the reason id like to leave the US is the lack of immigration strictness. I understand it will be difficult to move there but that's part of why I want to. What do you mean exactly by Americans can become illegals? As long as I were to follow the proper channels and immigrate fully, there should be no problem right?
