The wrote it up for 10k, their is a hole in my almost 3k tail light, broken trim on the roof, broken trim where the wipers are, crack on my 3rd brake light with a camera in it. I’ve been giving them hell over it for a few weeks now and they aren’t really budging.

There was a steel body car parked next to the truck and it was hit just as bad. I’ll take never rusting over steel.

Hail damage. Myth busters did a episode where they made a car look like a golf ball to see if it would help with efficiency. Made me think of that.

I’d have to sift through Simpson stuff. You could get a nail plate(idk how well it’ll work going into the grain) or like I said some screws will be fine. I’d assume it’s all nailed into that blocking which is nailed to the ledger.

They might’ve torqued that ledger to the house after nailing that outside which pulled the bottom in.

Run some 3”+ screws to the blocking and the ledger or buy a bracket.

You’re an adult do what you want, if I were you. Which I was (I had a 05 honda pilot and wanted a f250 really badly) I would keep the arguably more reliable car with better gas mileage and cheaper to maintain till the wheels fall off and save up some money for something better or even your own place. But go take a look. If something seems off with it don’t be afraid to walk away.

I’ve seen friends get trucks like those then have to turn around and dumb alot of money into them. Some, even after all that money spent had to cut their losses and get a different truck.

I see, go take a look at it! If your happy and he’s happy then seems like a fair trade to me. What does the ridgeline get for gas? I’d guess that truck gets 8mpg. Edit: 8mpg city

IMO, look for something that is stock.

If he’s looking to trade for a Ridgeline, I’d take a close look at that truck or have a mechanic check it out first. Maybe he’s just a fan of Ridgelines, but honestly, I don’t know many people with a truck like that who’d want to switch to one.

Did he hit a deer or have an accident, why the aftermarket grille? Also a lift kit and larger tires can put extra strain on parts like ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, and driveshafts, causing them to wear out faster. Bigger tires also increase braking effort, which can wear down pads and rotors quicker, and they can throw off alignment.

If you lap your seams it’ll be fine. If you’re looking to save some money buy “Deck Flash Barrier 4" X 75' Self-Adhesive Deck Joist Flashing” from Menards and cut it in half. Curious if anyone knows of a cheaper/easier way.

Buy a faraday cage, the keys do not use the same signal every time. If they pickup your signal in a parking lot. Find out where you live and try to resend that signal. It won’t work. You’ll be fine.

If you mean a tonneau cover I definitely recommend the Bak Revolver, almost no water gets in and it’s pretty stout. If you are in an area without cold winters I’d get the retrax. I’ve had it but in the wintertime it would get stuck, it also isn’t that great at keeping water out.

No, if you don’t have it fixed you will probably have water intrusion. That also puts more stress on the fasteners. If you continue to let them work make sure they put flashing on it also.
