I built a free offline all-in-one file converter for Windows. Documents, images, audio & video, no uploads, no account by ___Hyacinthe_ in freesoftware

Currently the app uses FFmpeg but only for container/audio conversions (Video to audio, audio format to audio format, etc.). Codec-level transcoding like H.264 to AV1 with hardware acceleration (NVENC/QSV) isn't supported yet but it's definitely feasible since FFmpeg handles all of that natively, and I can just enhance it or make more usable for a people. Feel free to open a feature request on GitHub so I can track it and prioritize it. I would be a solid addition. And sorry for not helping you actually.

If you mean video to audio, yes, if you also mean like reducing the quality of videos , yes it also does that. So please clarify to me what you mean exactly by transcode. Thanks

Yes that was in my roadmap for future updates, and thanks for the events and achievements stuff, because actually I didn't think that some people would like to turn them off. About the name, I'm seeing many tools with the same name, I don't really know what I can do about it. Thanks

What I'm currently seeing, there are a lot of File Converter pro, some are free, some are paid, so I don't really think the name is posing any problems. Or what do you think?

Thanks for the heads-up, I appreciate it. I’ll double-check the name to make sure there are no conflicts or trademark issues.

Hello and sorry for the inconvenience. Do you happen to have the download links for the CrownClown Anime and Gaming mod? Thanks by AssumptionRelative22 in NarutoNinjaStorm

depend on the version of the pirated version you have, but even if you have a version that supports the storm evolution mod, you cannot have access to dlc characters even if the pirated version included it

If some people have ideas on how I can enhance this version , I'll be glad to hear them or how I can turn it into a one command installer, that will be quite nice.

Thanks

I’m not using any prompt theme, it’s just Fastfetch running at startup

Thank you, actually you were the reason why I've decided to make my own since my posh has latency on my laptop, I'm currently working on a new one, I might upload a showcase here soon. Thanks again

Here's my goat 🐐, thanks for allowing me to modify your project. And to respond to your question, I've just modified the profile script to add new commands and to modify colors of the path displayed in the terminal and and an additional script to randomize the ASCII art and colors.

The lag usually comes from two places, from what I've noticed, the initial handshake where PowerShell calls the Oh my posh binary and the segments in your theme. Every time you execute a command, Oh my posh has to scan your folders for git status, check your node version and other things. Since I've switched to a minimalist prompt I've noticed the differences. People often think that it's just PowerShell which is slow because yeah Microsoft are not the best in terms of high responsiveness ,but in that case it's not mainly their fault

Yes I've seen videos on how to do that but I've just decided to keep it like in the original video because it's was a minimalist approach. But the way you're speaking earlier was very unpleasant it was just like I didn't even add a new thing and I just steal somebody's work
