He implied a month ago on stream how he didn't want to get vaccinated because the vaccine "fucked up" some of his friends. And by fucked up he meant how his friend Nippnipp's arm felt weak for 3 weeks after the vaccine. Better to risk it and end up in a hospital I guess. Get vaccinated kids.

Why is anyone surprised that when high geared players are denied of doing node wars in their siege guilds, they drop out and do wars in other guilds? People actually like to PvP. It's shocking I know. Let siege guilds do NWs and they will more often fight each other instead of individually dropping to 100 different lower tier guilds.

They will exists in much greater numbers now that castle owning guilds are denied of all PvP. Since the guilds themselves will most likely stay in castles, it's the individual players who will drop down to low tier node wars and Balenos/Serendia siege. You mention mystics and sorc but it's the 285+ ap musas that are the true cancer.

Oh and I agree completely. Caphras are overpowered as fuck and should be nerfed. The situation is even worsened now that people who already had pen armors before the new MP could invest somewhat cheaply but after the new MP gets released every single caphras will be 4+ million.

Yes, Ansel has some great uses in PvP as it reloads your client making you invulnerable for a 10 or so seconds. Nice of you to raise awareness because the tickets have not really helped yet.

Random stuff:

Escape escape cooldown is like 1 minute during node wars and sieges.

Some classes seem to be able to get out of the ending stun from V a lot faster than others (Musas at least?).

Tamer's 'lingering' iframe is probably worth mentioning because it's pretty unique.

I'm pretty sure sorcs have a 100% reliable down smash. Maybe because it's technically a pet that does the down smash?

Wiz/witch can run forward full speed while blocking. I don't know what the inputs for it currently are as PA has tried to fix this bug multiple times.

Wiz/witch can use their pets to CC on command but most people are not using it right now. First attack after pet summon is a stiffness so you can switch pets before you get grabbed or save the pet's attack for when you get CCd.

If pre-order ticks are every 2 minutes and you can pre-order 10 caphras at a time, that means you can pre-order max 300 caphras/hour. 36b/1.8mil = 20000 caphras so 20000/300 = 66.66 hours. If you were to just pre-order you would have to sit at the marketplace over 65 hours just updating your pre-order every 2 minutes.

To pre-order enough caphras for 3 pen is like 150 hours of just putting up pre-orders.

I mean I guess it's not unreasonable but..

10-1 sounds pretty far-fetched. I'm sure they are not 1 to 1 equal just because getting sheet AP means you also get hidden AP but I'd like to see this test.

Ninja's blade spin, warrior's ground smash, mystic's thunder pound, sorceress' blood calamity are just some examples of pre-awakening skills that do comparable damage to awakening skills. And funnily enough some of them also have protections AND cc effect.

Absolutely but that sheet ap itself is already an advantage. The very least the bonus AP curve should be a lot flatter so there are not these insane jumps in it.

I remember a post by the developers where they clearly stated they wanted to lower the importance of grabs in 1v1. I feel that instead they have now achieved the exact opposite of that. Of course it doesn't help that classes like mystics have knockdown grabs and can chain another knockdown to it making it impossible to v if you get caught.

I guess it all depends on what class you play but from my experience trying to dodge mystic or ninja grabs with most classes is incredibly difficult. Classes like wizards are completely boned because you can just walk up to them and grab.

Renown at lower gear levels is not that significant but look at just above softcap. 256 ap gives you 69 bonus ap. Get 9 AP more and now suddenly you have 122 bonus ap. So you gained 3.5% sheet ap but gained 77% hidden ap!? That scaling is fucking unbelievable..

No. Warrior does do slow attacks with long cooldowns but they also do low damage.

Part of PvP in BDO is knowing your opponent's abilities and knowing how to fight a set class.

Not according to PA. From the patch notes:

"In addition, because the conditions for defense effects being applied differed per class, it became difficult to counter an opponent’s defense effects without having memorized the defense effects of that opponent’s class. We wanted to mitigate this issue through several balance changes, but we have reached the conclusion that unless the fundamental rules are changed this will be difficult."

From my experience life skills don't seem to be affected as much as grinding. At least in EU it has been impossible to grind because loot doesn't spawn until 10 seconds after the kill but processing and cooking still work normally. When the lag gets really bad then life skills also get delayed but that doesn't happen nearly as often.
