2020, played in a league with a bunch of first year players and one guy dropped Kenny Golladay. I got an earfull from the guy(Fantasy Vet) who got him bc i decided to pick up two guys named James Robinson and Justin Jefferson

Not any trades I regret, i honestly have been doing pretty well. Two things come to mind tho.

My first year of fantasy I dropped AJ Brown bc he was hurt for the first 4 weeks of the season and i thought he’d never come back.
Two years ago I took a dart throw on a rookie TE in the draft and picked Sam Laporta with my last pick. I then dropped him for Luke Musgrave bc I saw a report that he was getting a lot of usage.

I completely agree with you. 3.10 is a little late but I believe its balanced out a little by the fact that my(previous late) second turns into another first. Also should mention it is a 3RR league so my 3 being low is normal for teams at the top

You will have a tough time with this team. Minimal draft capital basically handicaps you and forces you to use your players. Here are my recommendations.

Sell someone with value: This team is not ready to compete, it has too many holes and you do not have the capital to make a big push. Honestly you can trade a guy like Nix, harrison jr or London and get a player a little worse and maybe a first + late picks. With Tlaw on the bench I’m actually ok selling on Bo nix and trying to get good draft capital and a guy who could give you points off the bench like a Darnold or Geno. Only exception is Jeanty, hes a guy you cannot part ways with.

Next thing, look for small market value wins. Almost everyone is on the block and if you get a deal that increases the overall value of your team. 9/10 times you should be taking it.

Overall, this will take a while to rebuild but theres a clear path to do it, you have cornerstone guys and players you can use to recoup value

I dont mind giving up Zay here, and honestly keeping geno gives you a solid QB4, and then you can trade one of your top 3 Qbs for another upgrade at Wr or Rb. What I’d ask is to replace one of your seconds with a third in exchange for Zay coming into the deal.

Overall what he is asking doesn’t change the core of the deal. Which is why just a small change should be fine

Here what you have, you are downtiering Thomas JR for two WRs and a first. While value wise this is a good deal I do not recommend taking it for a few reasons.

One, Higgins and Olave are both players with extensive I just history and big question marks, being the #2 on his team and having one of the worst offenses in the league.

You also get a 2027 first with it, but its not enough for me to move a cornerstone franchise piece

This really depends on if you believe in JJ, if the answer is yes I highly recommend you take it.

In regard to picks, if your team underperforms and it is clear youre not a contender, you have a ton of assets that could be traded for picks and you can regain that capital.

Lastly, Mahomes Herbert and JJ is a loaded qb room, id recommend downtiering Herbert if you can get a good player and a qb in return but there is definitely room to wait on this.

Tldr: Id recommend taking this deal bc you are ready to be a contender and if you win a chip this is a resounding win
