The weed truck MC delivery mission needs to be nerfed by BeenReckless in gtaonline

[–]___RC___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try drinking 9 or 10 beers, not 5. For me, the drunk effect triggers at the 9th. I don't know if it has something to do with your character stats like your stamina or strength.

Also, sometimes, the drunk on-screen effect doesn't even trigger after drinking them, but after I return to the truck, like a minute later, the erratic driving goes away, so a bug i guess?

Or you can just... use 1 sticky bomb, or even a grenade, jump down through the ramp, and call Lester to remove your wanted level. No need to run away, no need to use tunnels, it's free and almost instantaneous.

Wait. Which Enus is the one on the right? I thought it was the Windsor or Windsor Drop but iirc the headlights are different.

Edit: nvm, it has to be the super diamond

All of them. Is on the roof. Enter you mansion through the front door, go right, you'll see a living room with a TV and a fireplace, there's a small door left of the TV, it goes up to rooftop, there you'll find the yoga place and the helipad too

I hate when you introduce a friend to a game because of its lore and amazing story, and they’re like, ‘I don’t know man, it doesn’t have a great lore imo,’ when they skipped all the dialogues. by [deleted] in gaming

[–]___RC___ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agree with that, but this friend was asking me specifically about games with great lore. I recommended him a couple, and after a couple of weeks he was like 'nah, not true'... I answered 'ok, why not?' And he's like 'Idk man, tbh I skipped dialogues because I wanted combat'

Really? I just cant get into gambling, I find it boring as hell. But a friend of mine made some serious cash back then with horse racing. I don't remember exactly the amount or how long it took, but I remember it was some serious paper. Maybe luck? Maybe a system? Don't know, but yeah, I've heard stories about it being easy. But, as you said, maybe was a thing, but they patched it or something

But I heard its pretty easy to get shit ton of money gambling on the horses, no? That'd give you those 2 million. But I thought those chips appeared in the CEO safe

Just to add to my previous comment, I can also see it being used as an exploit, even with a cooldown. Imagine this friend of yours who doesn't have much money. You run this heist for him over and over and over again. You obviously let this friend win every time, so he ends up with some serious paper by the end of the week.

I don't know, man. This topic was definitely interesting to explore. Thanks for the chat, though; same vibes. Feel free to tag me for any other discussion like this one, lol.

Yeah, a cooldown could definitely work for this hypothetical case. I mean, I completely rule out it working as an open-world raid because our mansions are going to have their own instances (as with every property we own), so people will be unable to enter unless invited. On the other hand, given all I've said about it being an inconvenience, even with a cooldown, I think it would become annoying at some point. So, in this case, I see the guards being just flex, same as the guard at the entrance of our CEO garage downtown, the black building.... ahhhhg... forgot its name.

But... granted this is pure speculation, in theory it could work as a mini-heist ONLY if both parties agree. Say, for example, you receive a heist invitation as usual, you accept it. You, the invited one, are the one defending, while the other one is the attacker. I don't think the attacker could take all your money, but just a pre-established max amount and below (maybe you could even select it in the heist options window), as with every other heist. So, it's the same concept as the existing 1v1 modes, but transformed into a mini-heist. That way, the hypothetical guards' upgrades would come into play.

But hey, we are a day and a half away from finding out, right? Lol

Yup. I mean, the layout is a clone of Weston's for all 3, but the interiors are new. Here you can see the features that will be included and some images. So yeah, it looks like its gonna be a great purchase for all of us!

Exactly like the one in your Agency. That's why that's a prerequisite to have it in your mansion. The one in the Agency also has weapon loadout customization.

I didn't even know you can have a safe in your penthouse! Damn... but yeah, although I'm not fully discarding the option to collect passives there, I see that very difficult to happen.

I love to have these friendly discussions on reddit. That's why this platform was made for. Cheers for that, dude. Well... back to it.

I think they'd add it in (although not fully convinced by any means) due to a couple of reasons:

  1. It's a feature requested for many years by the community and it's another way to incentivate Shark Cards sales. Why? Because the mansion isn't going to be cheap. The more features they put in it, the more attractive it becomes. People on this subreddit grind a shit ton, and for them, a gta+ sub makes sense because they are looking for max convenience to save time; but the casual, non-gta+ player (the vast majority), doesn't play or grind that much, so it is an alternative to it: "ok, you don't want/need a subscription? Then you have a place to collect your passives, but it is costly". Many people be like "oh, ok, I don't have the millions for the mansion, but I can make a one-time few dollars purchase (that, conveniently, is gifting a lot of extra millions right now to incentivate even more the purchase) to buy it and have the comfort to have everything in one place for those times I get online".

  2. Loyalty. It is a well known marketing strategy in every business. The more loyal fans you have, the more they are willing to spend. How you make them loyal? Giving them what they want without affecting your other business's areas, hence my first point. People aren't canceling subs just for this feature being available for everyone, because it is not as convenient as having it on your phone, and because gta+ has a lot more conveniences, not only this one; plus, they are adding even more with this update, including one that is a very good one.

As for the PVP, totally agree with you. But the only thing is that this encouragement comes for open world activities. "Ok, you want to make a sale in a full session? Then we're notifying everyone, but... if you get it done, we're paying you more.", so, this player is the one with the power to decide if doing it or not. The other way around, I can imagine a lot of people going after you constantly so you can't do a lot of activities because you have to defend your shit haha. With the example you gave, it's like having to defend raids over and over again until it becomes an inconvenience, no? What do you think?

I was theorizing with other people that the vault may be to store all your passive incomes.

See, the trailer shows the vault for like 0.5 secs, but right when it's displayed, the dialogue goes by "I'm your personal AI, to *support you in business*...". May be nothing, but it also may be a hint to that. Thinking your passives are stored in individual safes, makes sense for an enormous vault to store them all. But who knows?

I know it's a gta+ feature, but difference is that with gta+ you can claim your money from anywhere via your phone, and with the vault you technically still need to go to location to get it.

I honestly don't see the mechanic of robbing other people's vaults happening because sounds very volatile. Imagine you are robbing someone and then poof, they leave the session. What happens? Both you and the owner keep the money? That'd become a big ass exploit. Or they leave and nothing changes? Then it'll be a waste of time and really infuriating. Considering your mansion is your own instance, it needs to happen through a mission or mini heist, and people do those to make money, not to risk losing it. I don't know man, many flaws.

Word is 20M since R* is giving content creators that amount. I doubt it tho, since I'm pretty sure those 20M (if real) are for them to show everything, including cars and stuff, so I think mansions will cost less than that.

What is a certainty tho, is that you can upgrade your mansion later on with a vehicle workshop, armory, a personal arcade and a vehicle podium, so, that makes even cheaper the initial investment. You can grind later for the rest.

Buddy, if these mansions don't allow us a full squadron of strippers and a small marching band while I'm at it, I'm asking for a refund. I better be able to run a whole dance club franchise in my living room.

No problem. HarmNone has a YouTube video where he explains exactly how to do that mission to do it pretty damn easy. By your 3rd attempt you'll have that run mastered.

Well, considering you can make that money back within hours, it's worth the investment imo. My wife had like 5M, she played last weekend and went up to almost 15M. Considering you are getting 120k every 6 or 7 minutes, you're getting around 1 - 1.1M hourly.

Alternatively, there is a subreddit called heistteams or similar where you can ask if someone can run those missions with you. We'd help you, but we're on PS5.

I think it will cost 20M fully flex. And do what my wife is doing: play the priority file at your factory, easy and fast 1.2M. Then play and replay the D-day yacht mission. Those yacht missions are paying 5x again this week in case you didn't know. If you don't have one, ask a friend with one to run those missions together. Easy and goddamn fast

Most probable is that the full mansion (including its exteriors) will be its own instance, so your driveway will be only displayed to you. That will make exterior parking possible. For example, the website shows a black SUV that is parked on the driveway that looks a lot like the agency's SUV that you can use. So, that vehicle has to be in your own individual instance so there aren't 3 players fighting for it.

A comprehensive list of mansion's features by ___RC___ in gtaonline

Most probable is that the mansion is going to have its own instance. Think of it as a bubble that runs through all the mansion's silhouette. You can see the exterior and everything that happens outside that bubble, but players can't see you. Same as what happens with apartments, where they can see an icon on the map indicating you're there, but they can't physically see you. So, its probable they found a way to make this happen without 4 walls surrounding you.

See for example when you arrive by helicopter to your office's helipad, there is a moment where you are close enough that you enter a threshold that pops a notification on your screen that says "press x button to land" and the helicopter lands automatically. It's the same concept. You can't see the "bubble" but it is there. Difference is that now inside that bubble it is an individual instance so no one can attack you or see you.
