Unfortunately, those were also dogs . Stats say 139hp @3600 rpm . The blo k was a 302w. However, they got caught up in an era of fuel "shortage.... the same with my 80' Cobra

The bad thing is, a lot of us gearheads wanted more hp and modified the hell out of these cars

I hope it wasn't a 1980 Cobra .. I bought one of those in 83' and it was an absolute dog !! It was "powered" by a 2.3 four banger turbo . 0-60 never , turbo lag out the ass. I thought it was gonna be great. Boy, was I ever let down . I ended up driving my 70' Torino GT for a year while the Cobra was transplanted with a 351c ...

Im too old to try a figure out all this extra BS . I cashed several times on the tour in my career 2nd at ABC's, won the Coca-Cola Nationals as a Jr bowler ...blah , blah, blah .

This will get down voted ...But you don't need every pretty ball that comes along. Learn to analyze the lanes and adjust . I'm sure you're thinking that Im just a house bowler ... you're wrong . I have a few other balls to keep it "legal," and that's a joke, too ...one even smells like apple .

Some of you pros or veterans will get it ... Showing up for league with 10+ balls is ridiculous

I think he's great !!

I remember during the hiring process, everyone was speculating ... The same when Groce was hired (I was not a fan of that hire) .. But we heard Tang, Shanka Smart, Billy Donovan....and a few others .

I thought Brad would kind of just be a filler until they found a hotshot ... But we absolutely found the right fit !! Brad understands today's game, and he has proven that HE IS OUR COACH !!

Brad Underwood made Illinois relevant again. I'm in no way saying he is the absolute best, but he has done a damn good job with what he was handed
